MetLife is where offenses and ACLs go to die:

That’s what you deserve for calling yourself NY but playing in frickin Jersey

If he got knocked down, isn’t that a sack? ;)

I guess there’s no catchy song for just falling on your ass by yourself.

The right guard stepped on his foot as he was moving away from center and that's why he fell.

Still doesn't make a good lyric.

Surely putting Flacco behind that O-line is considered elder abuse?
They play my Steelers in a couple of weeks. Time for Watt and Herbig to tee off :P
Although knowing our D he'll probably put up 500 yards.

"Saquon Who? We Got Skattebo!"

I loved that sign when I saw it on TV

But yes, he will get CTE, sadly enough. Hopefully not....dude's a beast. If Malik returns for the home opener next year, I'll be there to see these three guys do what they do.

Skattebo is so fun to watch too. Dude is going to have CTE before he's 25, but he's going to be awesome until his brain is scrambled.
I just hope for his own sake that the inevitable CTE doesn't make him the next Antonio Brown or worse (Aaron Hernandez).

The fact that the Broncos are leading their division despite putting up performances like barely holding off the Jets just shows how crap the AFC West is this year.

Jets don't have a bye for 3 weeks. The report initially was that they are benching Fields for Taylor. Based on the play today and that Garrett Wilson will be at best limited, there is a very good chance they could be 0-9 going into the bye. All the defense has to do is check Wilson and Fields will end up holding the ball for too long and sacking himself.

Normally they get a but after the international game. I didn't realize they were playing next week. Fields is not who I thought he was. I thought he could be at least a replacement level QB

This is from the London game that someone posted on Reddit. Brits have a lot to learn about American football, specifically the divisions.

But can they capitalize on it next week wh- oh wait they play the Jets next week, we know the answer to that already then.
Fingers crossed they can capitalize on it but my expectations are always very low with Carolina. Hopefully they can keep this kind of energy up. Their pass rush is still next to non existent and they can't defend TE's but at the least the run d has been good. And the Jets I assume are going to be desperate for a win.

And also someone tell me why the Cowboys refused to re-sign this guy?

I don't think the Panthers have to worry too much about the passing game, to be honest...

To the residents of the UK. "We're sorry".
Don't worry about it, we're used to putrid offensive performances, in your football and in ours.
It wasn't the worst of the international games over the years. I was at the first one - Dolphins & Giants at a miserably wet Wembley. That was a pretty awful advertisement, though it did have the novelty of a Manning rushing TD.

As a Steelers fan it's nice of the rest of the AFC North to absolutely stink this year and almost Tomlin-proof the division for us. Old man Aaron is playing quite well, we haven't had any catastrophic injuries (yet - touch all the wood), it's all going to plan. Bungles on Thursday looks like a mega trap game though, and would be nice to get a real WR2 at the deadline. Don't think relying on 4 rotating TEs to support Metcalf is a Super Bowl winning strategy.

It was a particularly bad game to watch and as someone who rarely gets to watch live games (Superbowl aside) i felt like my time was robbed. I doubt even a highlights reel would have shown it as an interesting game. Even the half time show was appalling.

I know both teams are supposedly good on defence, but both sides played like they were fighting to lose.

The Jets USED to be good on defense. They aren't much anymore. Their defense is tired because it has to remain on the field for so long because the offense is inept. It's not even a current head coach/current QB problem, this has been the same exact issue occurring for most of the past 15 years.

It's really hard to watch a game when the officiating is so terrible.

The Monty to Goff TD was not an illegal formation per the rules. In order for it to be illegal, there needed to be 3 backs, and there weren't. Even though, if it truly was illegal, the refs should've thrown the flag right away instead of waiting, talking, and then throwing it well after the fact on a non-reviewable play.

The PI on Kelce was blatant favoritism of the officiating. The PI wasn't called until Kelce bitched like the crybaby he is and then got the flag. If it were truly PI, throw the flag when it happens, not after the fact. Also, let's not mention the Kelce catch that hit the ground first and was ruled a catch.

On top of that, Hutch was held almost every single defensive play, Jones lined up in the neutral zone pretty much every time, and Mahomes should've been called for taunting.

Did the Lions play a bad game? Yes. Was the officiating garbage and did it show a clear Chief's bias? Also, yes. I mean, how do you go from 13 penalties last week to 0 accepted penalties this week?

I still love the Lions and I still think they'll bounce back once they get healthy, but it's hard to take the NFL seriously when they clearly want certain teams to win. Also, pedophile Cris Collisworth needed to shut the hell up for all eternity.

Fields panics if his first option isn't open and he holds the ball too long. Then suddenly an opposing player hits him for some strange reason.
I watched the last drive yesterday and what bothers me is after 4 years he doesn't trust what he sees. If hits Wilson on time they get a first down. On the 4th down he should have gotten rid of the ball quicker. He has no anticipation at this point Tyrod Taylor is probably the best option. If Fields falters against the Panthers hopefully Glenn will pull him. It's obvious they don't trust to make the right decisions as you can tell by the playcalling. You can't win with prevent offense. And as long is Fields is the QB that will be the Jets offense
