Both teams decided that imitating Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes offense was a great idea. As for the Lions, losing Ragnow to retirement was the biggest blow because the O-line being swiss cheese absolutely killed that game.
I agree with you. I think the o line play cost Detroit more than the crappy play calling. I was surprised when John Morton was named OC. He was terrible when he was with the Jets as OC.

I had no idea Ben Johnson was the Bears HC. I made two of my King Of The Mountain picks on Minn. and I regretted it as I forgot it was JJ's first game and seeing Ben Johnson on the sidelines. But it turned out alright. I made it through the first week unscathed, 10/10 picks still with $200k up for grabs. Last year I got 8th place and got $0  But it was fun.

GB looked good last night. Washington not so much. I was anticipating the Commanders to not be as good due to the fact they won a lot of 1 score games and they didn't have any major injuries. I think they will make the playoffs but they won't win 12 games. It is amazing how getting 1 player can change a team. Parsons has been exactly what they needed.

The Commanders looked just like the Giants vs. them last week and GB looked like Washington vs the Giants last week  GB looks like the real deal.

Earlier this week Aaron Glenn showed he means business when he cut Xavier Gipson whose fumbled basically cost the Jets the game on Sunday. I hated to see Gipson get cut but you have to hold the players accountable so I understand it. The crazy thing about this is the Giants signed him to their practice squad.

That tracks

Asses were belted.

Chicago is not a serious football team and I'm glad the Lions did not ease up. I need that kind of play from the team going forward.

Russel Wilson just yeeted away any chance of a tie.
Yes but going for it on 4th and 5 in the first half is always a horrible idea in my mind. Instead of chasing a one point deficit all game, it was 4, which forces a longer drive and TD vs a FG. To me, that was a bigger issue than the INT.

Turnovers and bad clock management at the end of the half killed the Panthers. At least McMillan looks legit. He has been the only real bright spot for the first two games.

Steelers in midseason form already - stinking up the joint in all 3 phases. It's truly impressive that they've spent so much to build a team with absolutely no strengths whatsover. Can't run, can't pass, can't stop the run, can't stop the pass, can't even field a kickoff.

Please can this be the year we finally ditch Tomlin. Going to be a looooong season.

I put 3 of my picks on them this weekend 😭 So down to 7 already.

Panthers OL takes a hit. Hunt is a huge loss. Corbett not as much because I thought Cade Mays was really good at center, especially at the back end of last year. Really surprising that he didn't get the starting gig for this year. And hopefully with Mays there, Bryce won't have the ball snapped over his head multiple times per game.

I always watch the games on mute (except Giants games). What did they say about Tyfreak? That he is slower than Noah Lyles?

Imagine not being able to score against this Panthers defense. Good thing the Falcons didn't trade away their first rd pick for next year. Oh wait... 💀

Just watched the Rams @ Eagles game - I don't watch many live NFL games, but this was something of a classic.

That entirely depends on what side you're on. Not going to lie, we had them in the first half. Our inability to get a TD when we were well on top came back to bite us.

No Pack, No!

That instantly makes my day better.
Losing to Cleveland? Because of a blocked field goal, of all things?

I don't even care what Green Bay does the rest of the season, that was the highlight for me.

My Jets do Jets things. Will McDonald blocks a field goal. scoops up the ball and scored a TD to give the Jets a lead with too much time on the clock. So what happens the most Jets thing of course. Baker Mayfield drives his team to a game winning FG to win as time expires. Well it does take time to change things. I watched the Chiefs and Giants last night and it was a bad game. KC is wreck and if Dangeruss and the Giants play callers were competent the Giants could have won. They couldn't get the ball to Malik Nabers but they refused to get creative and try to get him the ball. Also the Giants need to give the rock to Skattebo that dude is beast. @Jump_Ace are ready for Dart to start week 5?

Skattebo is our offense now, Malik can be him, but he sure wasn't last night. At this point I don't see any reason not to start Dart now. Daboll will be 'looking for a spark' again like the last couple seasons. If he gets hurt, he'll have nearly a year to recover. Peyton stuck it out his rookie year all the way, it was brutal but worth it. There's always arguments for/against things, but at 0-3 which is where I predicted we'd be, is where we'll turn to Dart.

Baltimore really is proving to be their own worst enemy, aren't they? Another game where they had a critical fumble in the 4th quarter and threw away something they should have been able to win.

Well @Jump_Ace Dart will be starting this Sunday. Not the game I would have chose but oh well. Hopefully they come up with a good game plan to help Dart in the game.

Ayep, that seems to be the case. Okay. Let's start another new chapter...again, again this season!
