With a 3rd win in a row, Ferrari will be allowed to take the trophy back home definitely. Then we might enjoy one year of a better BoP for 2026 before 2027 and the return of Ford.
Clearly.they are sweeping all the races in WEC, and the porsches there, are totally out of contention

What is the difference between the Ferrari AF Corse cars, and the solo AF Corse car? I get the main two have Ferrari backing, but is there actually a difference?

Please Ford hurry up and expedite your LMDH and stop this Ferrari slaying madness. They are the only ones at this point because WEC isn't doing a damn thing to make this BOP fair and Ford has their number.

A lot of people were questioning the WEC BOP after two Ferrari wins from two this season. Almost everyone was after three from three.

This... is not going to help.
Especially that one for LM which is supposed to be tied to homologation parameters. Why did it changed again since the cars didn't?
Aston Martin putted aside of course.

Based on what?

Something that hadn't previously registered with me before...

From The-Race.com

The BoP in force at the Le Mans 24 Hours is not supposed to be the result of the same complex calculations as those used in other World Endurance Championship rounds. In fact, it is supposed to be based solely on the cars' homologation parameters, ie their intrinsic characteristics.

In other words, it does not depend on the performance recorded at Le Mans in 2024, nor on that of the first races of the season.

I get that Le Mans is a somewhat unique track, but this does seem a little short-sighted.

They would be crazy to pull back the 83 from P1, their 3 different cars win 3 in a row and they still get maximum points since the 83 doesnt count to manufacturer standings.

What a strange decision. Well, that would explain why the #51 car was like 20 kph faster than the competition on the Mulsanne straight.

I’m not saying the BoP is 100 but with 90mins to go we have 4 manufactures within 90 seconds of each other

I read, in Autosport magazine a good few years ago, that 60% of the people at a race are there only because Ferrari are there. That becomes better than 90% if the race is in Italy

Just as I was about to congratulate the #12 Cadillac for fifth place, I noticed that the #7 isn't that far behind from it

Let's see what happens, I wouldn't mind another place for the coolest Hypercar livery on the grid

On another subject, I agree with the general sentiment that if a Ferrari has to win, that it should be the #83

Otherwise I hope for a P1 finish for the #6

"No power" for #51 :(

Doesn't look like the timing would have worked out for #51 anyway, looks like the top 4 all need one more stop anyway.
