Clearly.they are sweeping all the races in WEC, and the porsches there, are totally out of contentionWith a 3rd win in a row, Ferrari will be allowed to take the trophy back home definitely. Then we might enjoy one year of a better BoP for 2026 before 2027 and the return of Ford.
Please Ford hurry up and expedite your LMDH and stop this Ferrari slaying madness. They are the only ones at this point because WEC isn't doing a damn thing to make this BOP fair and Ford has their number. With a 3rd win in a row, Ferrari will be allowed to take the trophy back home definitely. Especially that one for LM which is supposed to be tied to homologation parameters. Why did it changed again since the cars didn't?A lot of people were questioning the WEC BOP after two Ferrari wins from two this season. Almost everyone was after three from three.
This... is not going to help.
Based on what? Please Ford hurry up and expedite your LMDH and stop this Ferrari slaying madness. They are the only ones at this point because WEC isn't doing a damn thing to make this BOP fair and Ford has their number.
The BoP in force at the Le Mans 24 Hours is not supposed to be the result of the same complex calculations as those used in other World Endurance Championship rounds. In fact, it is supposed to be based solely on the cars' homologation parameters, ie their intrinsic characteristics.
In other words, it does not depend on the performance recorded at Le Mans in 2024, nor on that of the first races of the season.
What a strange decision. Well, that would explain why the #51 car was like 20 kph faster than the competition on the Mulsanne straight.Something that hadn't previously registered with me before...

I get that Le Mans is a somewhat unique track, but this does seem a little short-sighted.
The late 60s, the late 2010s... I'm of course not a fortune teller and throwing a bit of sarcasm but they do have history.Based on what?
I read, in Autosport magazine a good few years ago, that 60% of the people at a race are there only because Ferrari are there. That becomes better than 90% if the race is in ItalyA lot of people were questioning the WEC BOP after two Ferrari wins from two this season. Almost everyone was after three from three.

That was Giovinazzi.Kubica reporting a problem.
