Has he been left home alone? Two fun facts:
He has a brother who is also a professional footballer, and occasional international (not this time), called Kevin.
Kevin did not know the origin of his name until he was 18.
Haha, yeah I know, but Wales will never be in a WC semi so at least allow me a little ribbing..😀 Tuchel lost that..go one up and then go so defensive and just inviting pressure, it was inevitable once the equaliser went inBetter than staying home 😉
As a Hearts fan, I'm hoping we can sign him at some point.I haven’t watched much football since I was a kid so don’t know the players, but that Messi fellow seems pretty good.
Rayane Messi looks like a good talent, not sure you'll get him though. As a Hearts fan, I'm hoping we can sign him at some point.
Why?Worst final imaginable. Spain Argentina
Well, here's one possible reason regarding Argentina...Why?
Yet it happens often. What a disgusting and disgraceful gesture by so-called sportsmen - utterly embarrassing and shameful; what a bunch of ****s.
Because they are two teams with many very unlikeable players who often employ unsportsmanslike tactics such as mainly diving/simulation. In the case of Argentina they have arguably also been very lucky with some controversial decisions seemingly always going their way. Sadly the pair have also been successful (OK, sure Spain has only won WC once, in 2010, but they have three recent Euro wins and are undeniably one of the most successful national football teams the past two decades) and I would prefer to see other nations win, those that rarely do it, or never have or countries with more likeable people and players. Why?
If that was the case, why were THREE defenders brought on and two midfielders taken off?On the flip side, England deserve a lot of credit for the way they've conducted themselves throughout the tournament - keeping their discipline against a team like Argentina was surely not easy, and deserves a lot of respect and recognition.
Harry Kane's post-match interview was excellent, and quite interesting - he pointed out straight away that the goal after going 1-0 up was to press for a second goal - but clearly it didn't play out like that.
And an own goal to boot since they lost a war in their own back yard over that claim. What a disgusting and disgraceful gesture by so-called sportsmen - utterly embarrassing and shameful; what a bunch of ****s.
Yeah sounded more to me like Kane protecting Tuchel, he knows that those changes were a complete miss. The Rashford/Toney change needed to come after Argentina equalised, give them half a chance of having an impact. If that was the case, why were THREE defenders brought on and two midfielders taken off?
Yes, I guess this is probably nearer the truth - the reality on the ground was pretty obviously not prioritising a second England goal!Yeah sounded more to me like Kane protecting Tuchel, he knows that those changes were a complete miss.
Saw a comment earlier about rankings.Having allowed time for the game to digest, Argentina stepped up when they needed to. It was a spectacular final 30 minutes. No need to repeat what has already been said about England's momentum after scoring but it is pretty notable that England did try to keep Messi off his left foot... so he crossed with his right instead. Sometimes you just can't do anything about that.
I'd say most England fans aren't upset about going out in the semis, it's round about where expectations were, moreso how they went out. But credit to Argentina; they never gave up and took advantage of what was in front of them to deadly effect.
