That safety car couldn’t have been setup any more perfect for the #17. What a finish!!

Bathurst always delivers. Just wow.

Looking forward to GM partitioning for a larger fuel tank for their cars next year.

I was getting bored begging for a safety car for a while. Didn't want that ending though.

Incredible finish, I can't help but wonder if the SC never came out, Bates and Seton would've taken the lead with Kostecki on his way.

Incredible either way though.

Yeah Bates and Seton more than likely win without it. De Pasquale runs out before the start of the last lap.

I shut it off almost immediately after the winner interview because I had a massive headache and needed sleep, but overall I would say it was a fairly uneventful (trying not to say boring lol) race, up until the last 30 minutes or so. I do have to say, people complain about there not being any safety cars, but it says something about the quality of driving when you can go nearly a whole race without interruption.

Sucks that the Toyota's didn't have any speed. Took a little different strategy to get one of them to finish in the top 10, so congrats to BJR, Heimgartner and Fullwood on finishing 7th.

As much I as missed hearing Compton and Skaife call the race. Murphy had such excellent chemistry with Tander. Far better than both Courtney and Winterbottom. Wish they could keep Greg around.

Before Mostert binned it, felt like the #1 got better as the race went on but BJR did a phenomenal job of getting the #8 up the field. If it wasn't for Fullwood's mistake. They would have finished in the top 5.

Don't know what's happened to the #14 in the last stint. They were looking like finishing in the ten too.

Edit: And for all the talk about T8 struggling with getting their heads about the Mustang. They still ended up with both Sprint and Endurance Cups.

When Brodie yelled about winning the race in the #17, that's exactly what I was thinking when Anton ran out of fuel.

When was the last time we saw someone switch teams during the season? Fraser was never going to be back at PremiAir but I wasn't expecting him to be dumped before the year was out and Murray moving over was even less expected. Altho, he and Stewart were probably looking over their shoulders anyway with Hughes and Dalton in the wings.

Seems like this is gonna be the norm now. If you're not in the finals, you may as well bring next years plans forward till October.

Phillip Island is finally back on the calendar. It’ll be placed in the finals portion of the season, between Gold Coast and Adelaide. The event is backed by the Victorian Government and promoted by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

Should be the season finale again, with the Adelaide track being (probably) a shadow of it's former self.
