It does look better in the sun and I’m a sucker for a gradient too. I’m just tired of the matte finish.
 
MSR reveal. The Sherrin Rentals livery rules. Love the color scheme. Its gives like early 90s vibes. Awesome.

Wasn't sold on the gigantic GR logo on the quarters at first but it's growing on me. Just wish there was a bit more colour on the front. The headlights blend into everything else. Looks good though.

Really looking forward to seeing how the BJR ones looks in more brighter colours.

Interesting that the GR logos are there anyway since Toyota just switched things around and are using Toyota Racing for their motorsport activities.

As far as the car goes, I'm still not over how bulbous the rear is, especially from the front quarter angle.
 
Still think there is too much black on the front. Looks (and sounds) the business on track however.

What the hell happened to Harri Jones? Seemed like he was being groomed to be take from Reynolds' seat eventually but he's not co-driving either car anymore or even in talk for the wildcard gig with Lowndes.

I saw he was switching back to McElrea in Porsche Cup, and maybe I’m misremembering, I thought he was making the switch over to Super2?
 
Its funny when a customer Toyota car gives more of a factory vibe than the actual factory team does. Just a coincidence with the R&J Batteries colors being the same as Toyota's. Looks great, definitely better than Walkinshaw's.

Yeah, thought he'd be switching to Super 2 too. Shame because he does seem like a good talent. Maybe he's just hoping to get a gig overseas in Porsches or something now. Seems like he's chance in Supercars is done. Zak Best 2.0? 😅
 
That Supra is okay. Wonder if the other two cars will have a bit of JGTC colour scheme. Maybe a Pizza Hut sponsorship gives a red on white ZENT or TRD vibe.

I was just thinking about Zak Best. He only has himself to blame for his career nosedive, if the rumours a few years back have any truth to them. Maybe I’m not the only one to have been dive bombed by Harri Jones on iRacing? 😆


As for Heimgartner’s livery, BJR have done a great job. The livery compliments the shape of the Supra a lot better than Walkinshaw’s effort.

BRT liveries. Cooldrive about what we expect but it still looks great. Aaron Cameron's #3 tho. So close to perfection, if only the BLAHST logo on the rear quarter was a tad smaller.

Nice that Erebus got a full year sponsor for Murray but meh, there's nothing overly interesting about the livery itself.

BJR have done a nice job with the Supra's. Hill's Dare Iced Coffee livery looks great too. I particularly like the coffee coloured highlights on the front and rear bar.

With reports that Phillip Island is set to lose the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, I wonder if this could open the door for Supercars to return to the track? Maybe a bit hopeful, considering the track owner, but maybe fees could be lowered in order to attract another big name event.

I’m actually anxious to hear how this affects the current circuit layout. The current layout is iconic, it has so much character and is easily one of my favourite race tracks. It would be a shame to lose that.
