The car who was on pole versus the car that took the pole in the end. Should be tasty.

Yeah I have both feeds up, TNT sports via my wife's HBO max account on the tv and then WEC plus on my laptop. I always knew TNT sports like eurosport before did the annoying interviews but the ads seem to be new for this year, possibly because they are also playing the full race on cable tv via truTV channel. I thought wec plus would be uninterrupted but they seem to have learned a wrong lesson from TNT with these side interviews.

I'm watching the raw sound feed and no interviews at all.

I like the interviews, especially with the teams/partners that hint upcoming projects (like last year the ford hypercar during the michelin guy interview or the mclaren) :D

No WEC feed for me this year, I'm not paying to list to Martin Havens' gaslighting hour. I'm listening to RLM and the TNT/HBO feed and the occasional onboard.

No commentary feed + RLM now, indeed there are no interviews, a far better experience.

Edit : except that Ford guy again who answers at RLM... ><

I didn't find a no comms feed on wec plus but I did find a "helicopter feed" on HBO max which is pretty awesome.

I’ve always enjoyed John Hindhaughs commentary, hard to not associate his voice with endurance racing.

Random thought - does anyone think they should remove one of the Mulsanne chicanes to make things a little more exciting ?

Considering I've spotted some lmp2 cars missing the chicane last hour or so I don't see why not 😂

Oof the Corvette has started something now the Mercedes has gone off.

Edit: suspension collapse maybe?

To Kamui ".. And you get a drink" like a kid being told he's having a happy meal.

Edit: that was a brown trouser moment.

That useless talky bit completely missed a yellow flag on the track due to a LMP2 spinning, Enough already. I've now got the radio Le Mans site on a tab and I play the live feed from there when they do one of these "Its not the race" segments.

Brilliant overtake from Kamui there but the Caddy just got the legs.

Edit: as I say that..

I've just realized that Kevin Estre is racing at Le Mans this year as well. I had no idea that he was participating in the LMP2 class.

Didn't even know until now. Guess with Penske Porsche no longer in the WEC, he had to find other means to be there.

Yes, I saw the cockpit view during the pit stop and immediately thought „well that guy kinda looks like Kevin Estre“ and then the live feed showed his name. 😂

Btw I‘m not sure if there‘s any merit to it but according to the German commentary there are rumors that Toyota want to sign him as a works driver for the 2027 WEC season. Could be interesting.
