A shame, the #009 Aston officially retired. Not knowing the problem yet...

EDIT: Engine problem...

AMR's entry is a joke. 5 laps into the race and both cars into the garage with engine problems.

I found it funny how in the pits the crew men were wiping the windshields of the LMP1`s and when the LMP2`s showed up they wiped...well...the head lights,in absence of a windshield.:)

Audi in first, second and third place, properly lined up according to the numbers on the cars.

Also, BMW chasing the 458, go BMW, go!

They had a very tight schedule and they did not run the car at Sebring 12H for example or SPA if i remember correctly.

You can´t expect them to dominate something when the car is totally new.
It needs time to find the speed, get to know the car etc even though diesel LMP´s still are the quickest of the bunch.

The Audi car looks faster that the Peugeot but there still a long way to go until the end. The Aston Martin is not doing well for now. That Nissan is great but i think the Anime face is a bit unnecessary but is still want it to win the LMP2. (a bit off topic)
The Audi 3 just crashed with a Ferrari 458 in the Dunlop chicane. We got Safety car

There's a difference between 'finding the speed' and making it past the first hour of the race, I think

LMP2?
it´s an LMP1 car so it will be hard for it to win the LMP2 class.

Fuel tanks,
LMP1 Diesel 65L
LMP1 Gasoline 75L
LMP2 75L
GT 95L

Sure but you have to consider the car is new, they shouldn´t even have participated this year because it´s a stupid thing to do.

They need more time.

MASSIVE ACCIDENT. #3 Mcnish Audi and #58 Ferrari off after the dunlop bridge. Safety car out.

Massive crash for McNish.

That was very close to going into the crowd.

McNish is okay.

DAMN!!!! HUGE crash with Mcnish and a Ferrari, MASSIVE crash!!! Parts of the car flew into the spectators!!
