i was wondering whats the quickest real time a single player has finished a 24 hour endurance race, a spec of course
ie counting pause time etc

OP said REAL time, not race time. That means time in the real world, not virtual.

I plan on doing it 2-3hrs a day so i reckon it will take me about a couple of weeks to do it. :P

Around 20 hours out of 24. But you have to go in X1 and in rain conditions.

24hr, one sitting, no pause, three human drivers, two cases of redbull, two tubes of pringles, five pizza's.

Too bad the other two are refusing to come visit me to help me with MY 24 hour race, so it'll likely take two or three days for me.

Then the playablity is pretty low now isn't it? In real life, each driver has stints so it also isn't very realistic. Isn't that unfortunate.

Lots of things in this game are unrealistic. And patches keep coming so I wouldn't get gloomy yet my friend.

I can't wait to unlock it, my plan is to start on a saturday night at like 8 and drive straight through to 8 sunday night..... crash...and be back to work Monday, fresh as a daisy.

No pausing either, i'll pee when I have to pit, since it takes 58 seconds to refuel a car.

I would love to do it like that, believe me. But unfortunatly I have to share a tv and play stations with some others. Also you may want to factor food and bathroom breaks in if you haven't yet.

The human body can go 48 hours without water, and several days without food.

Either way, you can eat while you're driving, and drink too. I know I do. I even smoke while driving.

It's not really that I'm super gloomy about it, it's that I would have like the product out of the box to be a bit better and I haven't had wireless working to get updates unfortunatly.

That's why I have a wife, to make me food and empty my pee bottles :)

Sounded like an awesome racing session! Sucks though the other two wouldnt help you again.

Well they live a bit over an hour down the road, and I live in canada, so its mid january and not great weather. Its understandable.

It was a great session though, we had to fight back from boneheaded pit strategy and a fuel out on the mulsanne in the R10 TDI, finally winning Lemans by just under half a lap.

LOL. When I hit LVL 40 in A spec, I'll shoot some amphetamines and sit through the Nurburgring 24 hrs non stop in a real Le Mans car, like the 908 or R10.

Back in the day they used to drive solo. :crazy:Until This:

Back in GT4, I raced Le Mans 12hrs, slept (paused) 6, raced another 6, paused 4 and did the remaining 6 - a total of 34

when i get there i only intend on doing each one once so it will take about 3 to 4 days for each as i race for about 90 mins then break for about 3 mins then do again, until finished considering i work 6 days a week take 8 hours off the day for that and another 6 for sleep another 1 hour so for interacting with wife and tv another 30 mins for eating. That means about 8 to 9 hours driving time each day which is pretty good.
