2CV Wins A Race!

This probably does not deserve it's own thread but, I won a race in a 2CV at last!

Get it fully tuned and keep it smooth to win at the Tokyo Bay Kart Track in the Compact Car series.

I just took mine out fully tuned and after a few try's I finally nailed it. Had to adjust the tranny and was bouncing off the limiter on the straight at 75mph.

Loads of fun and like you said you need to keep it smooth. I also avoided using the brakes. Good fun in 2CV.

I've tried the Tokyo Kart race with everything from an S2000 to the Autozam AZ-1 (about 18 to 19 cars, the fastest being the Suzuki GSX/R and the Autoabacs MRS). I will attempt it with the 2CV very soon.

One of the few cars that actually sound great when fully tuned. Rumbles like a monster straight from hell. Then you cut to the chase cam and it still is a little 2CV bouncing around. Still going slowly. Great handling too! I know we don't make the best cars in France, but you just have to love that little thing.

I've taken it around the Nurburgring for a laugh, but I'll definitely have a go at an actual race! Thanks man!

Lol nice! I've won a race in it too! Against a X1 as well! Granted, the X1's job was to wreck the 2CV to the best of its abilities, but the 2CV WON!!!! by something like 0.001 seconds
And it did 230mph! Ok, I admit, I did fit a X1-shaped exhaust, it made it so powerful it span the best part of 20 times when it drove over a bump

I'll not try, as I'm not much in tuning. But before release 1.06 (AI improval), I won a Sunday cup race with a stock Fiat Panda in comfort medium

Now my best is with a Mitsubishi I-Miev (248PP) and a Daihatsu Sirion CX 2WD(242PP, but faster), all in comfort medium.

If you want to try the 2CV shoot, A-Spec World compact is easier (almost are London and Cape Ring) than Sunday cup, now.

Subaru 360 is the slowest, over an average of 10 different tracks (see my sig, car ranking thread)
