Are the TTs themselves boring or do you find all TTs boring. I have to say as a noob I couldnt get more than 4 golds on licensce test so I started doing seasonal TTs seriously to learn how to really drive in GT5.

On my second attempt I missed top ten by 1 tenth on my 3rd attempt I finished 9th.

Dude I found seasonal TTs to be a massively valueable driving instructor of the highest caliber myself. Not boring in the least.

You can please some people some of the time but you cannot please everybody all of the time. Some people like the time and drift trials others prefer A-spec & B-spec may be you should be grateful and appreciate that PD have to please a varying range of people. Not just drifters and not just pure racers. It is what makes the game. It gives you the chance to hone your skills drifting or time trialling.

Yeah they could, just offer B-Spec, TT, AND A-Spec. No A-Spec in about a month while they pump out B-Spec and TT is ridiculous. It's not like it would take 1 programmer more than 10 minutes to create an A-Spec race or anything, right?

Currently placed 17th in the K Trail in the Evo with a 2.50.xxx. I'm more then 10 seconds behind 1st and assume that has something to do with my setup.

This. The lvl tickets were adequate prizes, too. Who needs all the credits anyway?

That would be a good idea maybe for something like TC cars instead of ripping us off having to pay for them. They should delete some of the older seasonals and add new content to the actual offline game maybe another 2 races per section another couple of 4 hour races in the extreme level wouldnt go amiss.

I need the credits but they need to raise the limit on credits earnt.
Whats the point in having a limit at all if you can get 30 million from 1 b spec driver.
Why have a maximium 20 million limit 100 million would be a much better figure.

I like re-playing the old seasonals. There should be a drift trial practice mode or competition mode online or even 2 player. Complete with the scoring system.

Eiger short TT was fun I tried with Lancia Delta first and did ~1:16, on second try with Clio V6 (premium one) I finaly did 1:13:3xx. After that I saw everyone use Evora but I will wait for friends' times to see if I need to improve

First attemp at Eiger short, with a Mk5 GTi and ran 1:14:401. A lot of understeer with those tires. Tried it with. Z4 3.0L and got a 1:13:xx at first try.

I tried the TVR T350C and got a 1:13.2xx. It reminded me of running the dreaded Eiger in the Alfa (Grand Tour) all over again lol.

Is it just me or is it quite a bit hard to get a good time on the full Eiger time trial on the dirt? I had such a hard time getting a good run since I was going so slow in hopes I wouldn't slide into the walls and get a red time.

My best and time around was 4:09.xxx in the Subaru Rally car 08 from the NCD. I know I could do a ton better, but I get so paranoid hitting something with such a long course and starting over again. I guess I just need to learn the course better...haven't ran it in a while lol.

Beat these both with my awesome Shelby GT350R. It was fun to see myself in the top 200. Though I am sure I am in the 10s of Thousands now..

I am down to 1:09:223 with the car stock settings..

Try using the handbrake on the first couple of corners, will help you a bit

But yes an good tune for the Lotus Evora would be much appreciated guys

Save one of the Top 10's ghosts and try chasing that; I was much quicker than my first few attempts right off the bat.

I set a 1:08.906 chasing khmnt1995 (now at 11th with a 1:07.422), we're level around the 1st hairpin, but his (maybe her ) exits from the hairpins are better; 1st sector is usually 9 tenths or so down, 1.100 down in the 2nd sector, and losing the rest of the time in the last corner. Make sure you maximise your speed into and around the corners following the tunnel, scrub a tiny bit of speed to rotate the car, and you should be hitting the first apex a little shy of 100mph. Keep fairly wide around the last corner so you can get a nice straight-ish exit and be quick over the line for the next lap.

My Evora already had MFT's tune with a few minor changes; for this TT I'm using the 6 speed short box, no tuning parts (stage 3 engine only) plus the power limiter and some ballast.

DS3 (directional buttons), ABS 1, TC 2

Edit: Yes!! set a 1:08.613, chasing khmnt1995's ghost as before. I noticed he's getting the car to rotate more before turning left into the 4th hairpin, so I tried giving the handbrake a very small tap. I also used it to tighten my line slightly in first two hairpins; resulted in 0.677 down in the 1st sector, I think I was a little slower around the long right hander but managed to pull off my best line for the last corner.

Excellent TTs, great fun. Eiger short is technically very demanding. Only used a stock Evora so far, and got my time down to 1:08.2 something. Would like to play around with some setups, which I'm sure can make a bit of a difference. the ability to really turn the car in and hit the earliest possible acceleration point seems to be critical and the last double right-hander is really pi***ng me off.

Eiger K-Trail, is a crazy TT. Just can't get over the train track without losing time, and so stuck with a 3:46.something, with a stock setup. So, again, I will be trying some setups, for sure gear ratio will be important in getting the car up the hill. I'm sure some people posted a good set-up for the Lancer from the last Eiger K-Trail TT which could help a lot.

back on B-spec grinding for a couple of days, trying to get to L40 by repeating 24h Le Mans,

👍 That is such a good car.

I used Subaru 360 for London and a nasty premium Jag XKR I've been messing about with for the Cape Ring Drift.

Yet to hit the TTs, but I already know I suck at the Eiger K!
