This might just bring me back to FH3. I am honest-to-God hyped for this expansion, out-of-the-wall stuff like this is definitely up Horizon's alley. I knew buying the Expansion Pass when it was 25 bucks was a wise move...

Oh my god, I have laughed myself to tears. I was expecting a drag or hot rod pack, not... This.

Well, should've seen that coming - May is Hot Wheels month now, boys and girls. Honestly, I think it's the best possible DLC they could've come up with - and I am eager to see how well Hot Wheels loops go with Forza's physics-based approach. Plus, WE ARE GETTING TWIN MILL! And the Zonda R. Wunderbar.

Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels takes players to six new themed islands located off the coast of Australia; all connected by a network of Hot Wheels tracks – positioned hundreds of feet in the air – featuring classic Hot Wheels configurations like loops, corkscrews, and more. This is stunt driving at its most extreme, where you can master tracks by performing brand new Hot Wheels skills that make use of boost pads, high-bank turns, half-pipes, insane jumps, and even giant mechanical dinosaurs. If you’re looking to get creative, check out the new Stunt Swap feature to modify stunt track sections and dare your friends to try them.

Explore the world of Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels in an all-new campaign, completing events on your way towards the ultimate stunt-driving test, an epic Grand Finale taking place on the massive new Hot Wheels Goliath circuit. Hook up with your buddies and compete in online multiplayer racing on Hot Wheels tracks, or find out whose skills reign supreme in a brand-new Playground Arena. Along the way you’ll earn 28 new Xbox Live achievements worth 500 Gamerscore.

Get ready to explore the world of Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels in ten new cars, including several Hot Wheels’ world-famous vehicles, as well as a brand-new Barn Find just waiting to be discovered and restored.

I don't like it. :( (was expecting something else)

Even if I'm a Hot Wheels collector and well, these kind of races in The Crew Wild Run and GTAO were pretty fun but looks out of place in Horizon.

Where's my mountain pass? Ok, I may give it a chance as I've got the pass.

*Edit: I've seen it again and that thing in the end. Thats cool.

I had a good feeling the expansion would be something crazy when Porsche turned out to be a regular car pack. The thing is, we already had a mountain expansion albeit a snowy one. I've always wanted to try the stunt tools in GTA Online but I've never gotten around to it. This looks like a perfect alternative that can be enjoyed in singleplayer too.

Just like in FM6, I don't care much for the Hot Wheels cars but those twisting stunt lanes look incredibly fun with all the altitude and jumps. Great bonus if the expansion also brings cars like the Zenvo. First ever Danish car in a video game if I'm not mistaken. I cannot ignore that. :D

I've moved all the relevant posts to their own thread. 👍

I'm... really not sure how to respond to this. It looks like a bunch of fun, but any talk from T10 and PG about FH3 being a semi-sim can be thrown out the window now, especially to casual onlookers.

On the other hand, this really does play to the talk of wanting to tie together all automotive enthusiasts. Who doesn't love Hot Wheels?!

I really hope that the continued embracing of the more out-there arcade stuff in Horizon means FM7 will move further into sim territory.

I think any talk about FH3 being a "semi-sim" fell of the cliff overlooking the Twelve Apostles together with the car I jumped from there... And I believe that with Horizon becoming the main draw for casual players and Motorsport having to face a much stiffer competition in the future, we may see the latter become more of a simulator.

I dont like this. April fools again?

To be fair, some people might see the fun in this, and at the very least, its something different. However, im sure this will turn shallow soon. Looks more like TrackMania or MicroMachines then Forza. That being said, i dont like the direction this franchise is taking. I will skip this.
