I myself have only seen this car in the UCD once. It costs around $14mil also so having enough to buy it when it shows is a challenge alone. I didn't the last time I saw it and have been trying to hold on to $14M so IF it does reappear I can have it.

I don't quite understand why everyone wants this Chappy so bad.

Yes, it sticks to the track, but it is so ugly.

The 2D is the one I want.

Keep looking, it comes around eventually.

 I searched and searched. Nope. No point found

What's the OP asking exactly? This IS a Question and Answer section..

EXACTLY!!! Good point!

He's actually answering a question that hasn't been asked yet!

Like the song that was never sung. Hmmm. Funny thing.

I recommend a 1970 birthday ticket.

It's a 1967 Not a 1970. WTF So ya. Get a 1967 ticket

2D is a 1967, he's asking about the 2J, which IS a 1970.

Both were in the Online dealer at a point in time, that's when I got them. That might even have been when the Online Dealer was first released.

2D definitely looks better, but the 2J is also faster, and could provide a challenge in some of the LMP races, if that's your thing.

DING! We have a winner 👍
That works if you only want it in your second account. You won't be able to send it to your main account. $ 1m limit. Otherwise you could just get someone else to dupe it and gift it to you.

I have 3 of the stupid 2J's and all I am missing is the 2D, I refresh the UCD 10 times per day (50 race days) and still no 2D.

Got lost in the mail :scared:

You can spam a ticket in your main account until it gives up the goods.

You can dupe the 70 ticket to your main account from a second one, or just get it and send it to your main account, back up the main account, and keep quitting game and reloading the back up until you get the 2J.

I'm going to have to spend some of this as one of my bobs nearly has the cap of 20,000,000 credits himself.

EDK

Asking myself if the OP was asking for that answer...

True, but if it showed up in one of the first Online dealers, that suggests it's a car that rarely shows up in the UCD, so he could be waiting a long time with those 20 Million credits on his Bob. :p

Well, spam the UCD or get a ticket or two and spam the crap out of them...

Yeah, you can just load up a race event, and start the event, quit, stay in the event screen, start, quit again. Do that I think 5 times and it cycles the UCD in a matter of minutes.

Then back out and check the list, repeat. Either exercise is going to require some patience. Good luck. 👍

Quite a predicament mate, there's a link goin' round here somewhere for a mygranturismo.net "UCD calculator."
Works pretty simply and is a good way to find out roughly how far away it is.

I have 2 of the 2D and nearly 700 cars total.

I've started a race, quit and restarted with no update to the UCD. Only if I back out all the way and go back in has it updated. When I feel up to cycling the UCD I go into the license tests and open and close them.

If you can't be bothered duping tickets or cycling the UCD endlessley, try buying a whole bunch of F40's (best resale value) until you're down to about 14m (2J is around 14.5m ish) then cycle the UCD and cars that are just out of reach tend to show up more often, when it shows up sell those F40's (it doesn't advance the game days when you sell them)

Buying cars has not effect on game days, only starting a race or loading a license test. And even if that idea did work the resale value of cars is too low to make it worth it. Like its been said creating or trading for a ticket will be your fastest option.
