I've found another car that's about .3 tenths off the bus, but I think it will be just as competitive. WP.

Track:Nurburgring GP/F
Car: Audi TT '03 (premium) ... the car is 420pp stock.
how good is this car?Anyone tried it yet?

Are we running 450pp as per usual?

Does the winner get to choose the PP? That would be interesting.

I think we're going too stick with 450, but the winner atleast gets too choose the track and car. I think if we move around too much on PP, people may not be able too afford it. I don't think we should start building 650pp cars on sport softs. (Or should we.... :D mwahahahaahhaah)

Lol, I won't use the bus tonight to be fair. Also, you were matching my times because you started shadowing my line. :P You've picked up that trick too go fast on the switchbacks, it's amazing how fast it is over the traditional line.
By trick, do you mean braking early beforehand to straighten out the line? I was running that line to pass people but my car was so tail happy i couldnt make use of the front grip. Ive tried a few other cars for tonight and i cant seem to get some to run as fast as others. It was weird that one FR car would be tail happy and another would push. I couldnt get the tail happy ones under control even with using the LSD.
for tonight the car has to be under 1000kg, or over 1000kg?

cars need to be under 1000kg, hence the theme lightweight classics.

Yes. We are going to stick with 450pp and sport soft tires for the first few iterations. If we run out of cars, we can try 400pp and comfort softs or maybe move to 500pp...but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

So, after beating the last new seasonal, and getting my lv 22 ticket...

I saved my game, copied to my usb, loaded and sent the ticket to my other account. Reloaded my saved data to have it tell me it is corrupt. So there we go. 1270 game days and 340 cars down the tubes. You can't use save data from another account, so I'm sol. Pile of crap. I'm so pissed right now. Good thing my other account has all tickets saved, but it only has 44 cars. Oh, and the account I lost has 19 million cr too. Grrrrrr.

So you guys be sure to save a good file every now and then.

You could do that or go way deep and follow a banana shaped arc around them without touching the apex.

Might sound stupid, but what is a decent time on Laguna seca with 400? Anyone remember their times from last Sunday?

Check the replay i posted for some lap times at laguna.

For those who get on early, run some practice laps at cape ring inside and madrid mini. I think they will be fun in these 400pp cars, and no one ever votes for them. I will load them up after autumn mini.

Some pretty interesting racing tonight, I got the win at Autumn Ring again. Though I think sl3ight was a little angry with what I was driving. :D

LOL, you definitely know how to tune and drive for Autumn Ring. I'm still 7/10ths behind your times.

I had fun on all the races. I really like this power level and tire combo. It is sort of like when you put boost on. Everyone makes a little mistake here and there so if you race clean you can catch up after a mistake.

The Silvia I was driving last night was really quick but I couldn't keep from making mistakes and losing position, with the exception of Cape Ring. I think I had the lead for a single corner @ Toscana but ended up losing the back end on the exit.

That made course was sweet. My car was setup perfectly for those tight corners it seemed, so long as I could keep my speed down on entrance. Can courses be made available to others in the same way cars can? I would love to get that track. I guess I could make it myself if not.

You can share your tracks. Your friends can then download those tracks. Your friends can then use those tracks on and off-line.

If that was a randomly generated track, my guess is that its gone forever.

Yes I can share that track. I had another similar one which was tons of fun but I accidentally deleted it. Did anyone happened to download any of my previous tracks?

Anyway, next time I'm on, I will share my generated track. There were some tough turns, but the track was short enough that you could start to memorize brake zones after a few laps. My Cosmo was a little bit too tail happy for the track. As a result I wore down the rear tires faster than the front and after about 3 laps I couldn't keep pace anymore.

BTW, you may notice my tracks generally have high-camber turns. They remind me of the roads in upstate NY where I went to school. It takes some getting used to though because you have to let the camber do the turning. If you crank the wheel too far, you'll oversteer on exit.

Yeah, as long as I had the nose in the right place, wheels straight, and car balanced entering the turn I was able to get lots of speed in those corners on exit.

The picture quality is kind of poor, but there was tons of action during our Toscana Night race. It was all about drafting and staying on the track.

When we're racing, is the best lap that's displayed for everyone or just your best lap? I think I was getting fastest lap times all night, minus Autumn Ring. That car was nuts, sub 700 KG @ 160HP.

In free-run, the best lap time is global for all drivers. It represents the pole position so it will change as drivers warm up. The lap times below it are yours. Compare them to see how you are doing against the fastest time.

During the race, all lap times displayed are yours.

It's just the cars, the kubelwagon is like driving a go kart with two gears.
Keep the rpm up, and the turbo will pull you along, really exciting. The samba bus is more fun on other tracks due to the mid range turbo. It
lugs, and then it's like it gets hit in the (explicit) by a train for about a 1000 rpm, and you shift and enjoy that feeling once again.

So umm, I guess I didn't really look at my cars for tonight. It looks like every car classic car in my garage is over 450pp. Are we sure we want to run 450? Most are around 470 without so much as an oil change.

You could grab a Mustang and or Camaro out of the NCD and transfer your settings over from the larger pp cars,

Or I could send you a car,

or.....

Yeah, I just tuned some 450pp muscle cars.

yeah, i think every single one is going to require some amount of power reduction or ballast. we'll try it though and see what happens. if it doesn't work out or people complain, we can up it to 500 after the first race or two.
