Couldn't handle 500pp at all :(
 
it's tougher for sure on SS

worth trying though - we won't do it again anytime soon, stick to 450.
 
twas tough! i was losing grip halfway thru the course, cycled thru 6-8 different cars but couldn't find the right one, yeah it made my 450pp cars faster due to the bump in hp but at the expense on handling.... :crazy:

i had to go to bed. I love racing with you guys but i can rarely stay up past 11. I wish we started earlier than 9:45

Yeah I just started working summer hours and have to get up an hour earlier than normal, though I do get Friday's off. But this week has been brutal.

badabing, or whatever his name is, is an awful driver. Out of the shoot one race, used me to make the first turn and then proceeded to wreak havoc a few hundred feet down the track taking out a couple people and forcing a couple of us to jam on the brakes and then get punted to guard-rails by those behind us that were blind to what was around the corner. Every single time I've raced on Wednesday's he's done **** like this. I wasn't the only one that took issue with him either.

Edit: booch, I think I recall hearing you say something to him about divebombing before you left for the night, right?

if he shows next week, i'll be sure to recycle him. he's a pubber (i think) that i thought raced clean the 1st time i saw him several weeks back but i heard a few complaints last night.

i think we get a mix of pubbers, 450 club members on wednesdays moreso than any other night because of the popularity of the ring. the pubbers i saw last night are the usual suspects (fellow ring rats) i see when i race in other nurb rooms online and are usually clean, courteous drivers (tannibus, scare bus, etc.) - they're pretty fast too. :D

That's one of the main reasons I switched the other nights to private lobbies. I know there are clean drivers that pop in from time to time...but it only takes one pubber to ruin an evening. I'd rather race with 7-8 good clean drivers than 16 questionable drivers. Plus, it keeps me honest knowing that everyone on the track will come back here and report what happens. I'll run a blocking line, I'll try for an aggressive pass, but i won't intentionally do anything that could ruin someone else's experience.

Any and all performance parts allowed for tuning the car. 👍👍
 
You guys ever done races a bit earlier like 8 est or something? It's just the fact that I'm GMT+0 and I can't always be up until 5am haha. I'll be there for some of it at least.
 
which nsx? the 92 type r?
 
It's a 91 I think....Its the only premium Acura NSX.
 
Check the acura dealership.... the only car there.

And do we have to do suzuka again this week? We did that last week for the one make race. Granted... I did well then... (even in chuyler sandbagged at the end for me).

Edit: In my testing, the 91 nsx is a little tail happy. Im testing some ballast theories. I am using the stock lsd though. I could try testing with the adjustable one.
 
Grenade picked Suzuka so that's where we will race. To avoid improper grid setup, I may reset the track 10 minutes prior to the start of the race. Drivers should stay on the track after this to secure their starting position.

Do you guys run multiple races of this one make all night or is it just a single longer one make race? Reason I ask is because I'd like to participate tonight, but probably won't make it from the beginning. But I wouldn't mind just hopping in and running a few races at the end with this one make.
 
The format for tonight is as follows:
9:45-10:00 is practice
10:00 will be an 8-lap race at Suzuka, winner gets to pick next week's car/track
10:15 - 12:00 we will run short 5-10 lap races on various tracks using the same cars.

The time between races will be shorter than previous nights. There will be enough time to run 3-5 laps on a given course before the race starts. Don't get caught tuning. You should have time to run 1 lap, update your transmission and tweak a setting or two, then run 2-3 more laps.
 
OH BTW, the room may fill up quickly. I see lots of new friend requests which i will attend to as soon as I sign on. Don't send me a message at 10:05 telling me the room is full and you cannot get in. The room is going to be in my private lobby so everyone will be on my friend list. Races are roughly 10 minutes in length so just check back every few minutes to see if someone has left.
