Here is a car which I have previously tuned for a FITT event. Worked like a charm :)

Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI (Type-II) '02

Link here

Tuned at 515PP on SH tyres. To meet the regs for this event. Build as detailed and then remove the Intake Tuning and Reduce PP Limiter to reach 500PP. The transmission settings will not work if you try and set it up without the Intake Tuning being applied.

Hmm I'll double check what typed this morning I seem to doing a lot of typos when I enter a car lately.
Prolly has to do with the fact I've got preschoolers bugging me lol

When I checked my car inventory list, I was missing a few from the Evolution series, all of them 90's cars. I always loved the gigantic fog lights from the 4th gen model, so I bought one (Lancer Evolution IV GSR '96) and tuned it for this event.
I really enjoyed the car- When tuned it has plenty of power (more than I've seen posted here so far, so I'll share the tune). On my first suspension tune it was actually a bit too tail-happy, which was a pleasant surprise; the need to dial out rear wheel spin was definitely unexpected. By NO means am I a professional tuner, just wanted to share a winning tune that felt pretty great.

I had some frakentune applied to a Subaru S206 NBR Challenge Package - I'm not sure where the heck it came from. I always label my tabs. :embarrassed:

Anyway, I went into the dirt once and onto the grass once. My third lap, which was my first clean lap, netted a 1:00.255... Good luck everyone!

i double checked the tune it matches what I have in game. Did you add everything? the car is a heavy 1239kg's but it's nimble.

@hall90 Thanks for posting your setup, its top notch. 👍

Using your setup I was able to improve my time from last night by almost 0.300 in just a little while.
(I moved ahead of you :guilty: )

My lap was a 58.827 (ABS only)

Very good time , you are a bit quicker than me but I am trying a rear wing on the car to see how it goes, and it is better with a wing I will let you know 👍.

@hall90 if that does not help you can try raising the front ride height up a bit to reduce the understeer. I really don't think I could have ever beat your time without your setup :sly: The high LSD Accel number is what made the big difference.

Also, originally I noticed you were pulling away from me while accelerating down the backstretch and I changed to the high RMP turbo and it seemed to help. I'm not sure which is the fastest...

That last corner before the finish line, I just can not get it right sometimes so I have to keep practicing.

This bad handling Subaru WRX STI Type II '02, isn't nimble at all. Very understeer especially at last corner. However, manage to get this 1 minute lap car to 59.6xx with no assist after headache tuned.
Maybe will try an EVO IV to see how fast it can go.Love those older 4WD champ car.

I managed a 1:01.102 last night with my '99 sti version VI. It's a really good car, and to think, I originally bought it for a dirt racer. I am going to try a couple of the posted tunes tonight to see if I can break the minute mark.

Now I have no idea what to do when it comes to tuning but I reckon I did an alright job on my Evo 7 but of course theres room for improvement, my best lap was only a 1:00.533 and overall the car felt pretty good besides a bit of understeer coming out of corners but atleast the turn in was great!
