I love the numbers for the Aston cars, I really hope Aston can do well today/tomorrow.

Nah thats damage.

Nope, that´s debris!

Sad to see that there is most likely just the four Vettes left in GT1. just saw the Jetalliance Aston stop on track.

It was always gonna be a two horse race in GT1 though anyway Lynx.

And no, it's not damage on the McNish Audi: It's a tyre or something, since it moves around. It was on the other side earlier.

They had to change the nose to remove that tyre

During the Safety Car period, the Audi's changed tyres but the Aston Martin's didn't. Then the Audi's where only a second a lap quicker than the Aston Martins. This could be a very good race for the Gulf boys.

Are you serious, 4 pages in the time I was gone?👎 Anyways, I'm going to bed now, the next coverage I see will be tomorrow night less than 6hrs before the finish.

Me too, IMO they are the best looking and best sounding cars in the field, the Aston Lola reminds me of latest 3.5 litre Group-C cars.

Live Le Mans video streaming online, live Le Mans radio streaming, Live timing on the official site and posting in a forum. What exactly was it we all did in the real world before broadband?

Haha
+1 and

Must say the action is pretty "hard" this year :)
Plus quite emotional commentators add up to that :)

When will leading Peugeot and Audi change drivers for the first time ?

What, the Audi got the blue flag because of a Peugeot behind it?? :dunce:

Was the Pescarolo pug leading when it had its pit problems?

This Audi commercial is hilarious.

Was it waved or stationary? Waved Blue means your going to be lapped. Move over. Stationary means there's a faster car behind you. You don't have to move over.

I know, but I at least expected the Aston to give LAA a run for their money. I never counted anything on JLOC car, since it basically never even completed 24 hrs combined, over the years they´ve been participating.

Tough luck, Audi, Peugeot upped their game. A whole rear end in 24 minutes, 3 seconds a lap quicker, and now, it only remains to see if they can stop the same. The McNish car with that bit of nose-damage lost a bit of time, and the #2 Rockenfeller car is being chased hard by the #9 Gene car.

EDIT: The #7 908 would be better off without stopping at all. Pit-problems again.

This is turning out to be a good race,

#8, and #9 Peugeots vs the #1 and #2 Audis

#17 Peugeot vs the #3 Audi

And the two astons are just sitting there waiting for a mistake

As for the speedTV coverage, your missing 4 hours because of NASCAR, but you're also missing 2 hours because of AMA motorcycle racing. It's not always NASCAR's fault ;)

Two hours in and you say this?

I would wait a while yet. Not saying you are going to be wrong but it is a 24 hour race.

Crap. I missed something. One of the Lola's hit a tire-wall?

Commercials every 10 minutes ?
It means loosing about 40% of the race...
And I thought that commercials in my country - every 23minutes is too much...

Two hours in and you say this?

I'm referring to the team-work: Last year, Peugeot were all over the place. Pitting took longer, repairs took ages... Already 4 hours in, they had to pull the cars in to clean the radiators.

24 minutes to swap out the intercoolers and change the entire rear - and then lap back in the 3'27s - is something only Audi managed in past years.

I'm just as dissappoitned in the TV coverage. Almost every time there is a fight for position on the track we only get to see it for a few seconds then the camera goes to some everyday pitstop.

Then the camera goes back to the battle 1 minute later and its finished. :indiff:

Yeh the stream isn't great but its still fun to watch, lots of cars going slow on track at the moment.

{edit} as i post, another advert.

It was exactly 8 minutes since last commercial ......:dunce:
Too bad eurosport player requires windows media player - equals - not working on PS3 and 15" laptop ... :/

On main subject:

2 Peugeots leading :)

Why did I not go to a bookie ? ;)

Because they will both throw it away in the pits in the 23rd hour of the race, loosing your money for you.

[/joke]

I don't know if this was posted, but speedtv.com will stream a live feed from 12:00 to 4:30 Eastern time to fill the void.

Astons a lap down, the McNish #1 Audi should be lapped within 10 laps maximum.

Yeah, thats a great move by them, but what's with interrupting the coverage again from 10pm-12am est to show AMA motorcycles? I dont get that one

But there'll be plenty of streams on the internet, so it doesnt bother me much
