Green GT, one of the original reserves for the DeltaWing. It's powered by hydrogen fuel cell and should have deserved the spot more than DW. It's still taking part in this test.

Looks quite different though than the original illustration:

It is the GreenGT2012 H2, which will compete in the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Massive air INTAKE & Rear wing!! 👍
Future P1 concept? or not? :)

Yessss, tuning in as soon as I can, can't wait.

And I'm sorry but that GreenGT H2 thing looks horrendous imo. The engine's the awesome part... but now that I think of it, if there was ever gonna be a Spyker LMP car, that would definitely be it :ill:

So far Toyota and an Audi R18 Ultra are tied with the exact time to the thousandth of a second up top- 3:31.039

Yeah it's getting pretty spiffy out there. Interesting to listen to reactions form the timing at the track, looks like Toyota hopped right to it, no simulations, just slamming it hard.

But from the race in Spa it seemed like the Ultra was the faster car, but in a 6 hour race, so I'm real interested in seeing the e-tron and how it compares to the other two.

And who knows what sort of program Audi are running, I know it's still extremely early, but yeah, exciting anyhow.

And hey seth, how come you aren't representing Toyota in CALM? Ron (Dragon) won at Spa in his TS020 in an epic way, our own Le Mans is certainly going to be interesting.

Where can you find the link to this from the main page (meteox.com)? I looked around, but couldn't find. Just incase I loose the bookmark...

It was done with the 'my rainradar' tab, maybe Furinkazen could add the link to the OP along with all the other useful links. Timing, steaming, spotter guides etc

Toyota certainly do seem to be on the pace. But we'll never know if the true pace of the Audis is being shown today

Toyota is on pole position! :) 👍

No.7 Toyota TS030. Time: 3:30:202 👍

Awesome, this is really re-igniting my hope for them. That's terrific pace in such a short amount of time. If they chop even just a second off that time then all they'll need is the reliability and a swift crew to really put a fight to Audi. 👍

This is The #1 R18 Ultra's best qualifying time from the 2011 Le Mans 24H for reference:
3:27.939

The #8 908 did a 3:27.033

Pace one thing... reliability another. Just ask Peugeot in 2010...

Was that during Test day? Or Le Mans?

Oh by the way, Toyota isn't on pole anymore. It's the Audi E-tron quattro. 👎

No.1 Audi R18 E-TRON QUATTRO. Time: 3:29.570
