Are you serious??? Oh, god, that'd be soooo epic!!! I wish they showed that on Eurosport.

That's the kind of stuff that restores my faith in humanity 👍. See HKS Racer? Not everybody thinks the Deltawing is crap.

I know. You wouldn't see that in f1.

That's why **** happens, because LM series don't specify a crap. If that's the official "rule" it basically means nothing. "hey I'm blue flaggin you, a faster car is coming, do what ever you want". LOL. I bet they don't even make briefing about how to handle chaotic situations. There's clearly a problem with LM organization. Anthony Davidson risked his life today and last year other drivers.

By the way this is the ultimate troll answer. I'm talking about safety you are talking crap.

No. The rules say faster cars have to move AROUND slower cars... thats faster cars have to move AROUND slower cars...

lizards driver is saying the marshalls are trying to rip him out of the car and hes trying to drive it back

He needs to get angry. Not Hulk angry, but Badass Dumas angry. That way, the marshalls will prefer to stay away from him and shut up .

In F1 slower drivers are required to even use brakes if necessary.
Seems like LM organizers are not very concerned about safety.

Dude. GTFO of this thread. This is not F1. This is Endurance racing. Different rules.

That is a rule in F1 and DTM only. Deal with it. The real Blue flag rule is safe.

Ah, DeltaWing is still in the game, just 53 laps behind.

False alarm then.

So, they are still in? If thats the case, then thats wonderful news.

For the third time.

It is the responsibility of the driver of the slower car to stay on the racing line so that there can be no confusion over what a slower car will do when a faster car catches up to it.

What is difficult to understand about this perfectly logical rule that has existed for as long as there have been warning flags?

For clarity to HKS.

Additionally, there is something interesting happening somewhere, just heard some weird stuff....

Go and learn and come back later. Slamming on brakes in middle of a corner? Real safe.

Also Bruni in Ferrari leads GT.

Yeah go 'postal' on the cars bodywork and the marshalls will run a mile!

On a side note is anyone getting annoyed with the person typing on a very loudly on a clacky keyboard in the background on the Eurosport coverage? I hope they aren't going to do that all night.

Tweet from Toyota Racing:

VICTORY! @joeylogano wins his 5th @NASCAR_NNS race of 2012, this time at @MISpeedway !!

NOBODY CARES!!! Now, tell Nakajima that you've got his wife kidnapped and that he must catch up if he wants to see her again.

 too funny

Bye Bye Lizards :(

No. 80 will not be able to make it back to the pits. @pLmotorsport is in a safe spot off the course and is... Team manager summoned to race Control.

Is it out on the track right now? Or is it just them reiterating that it will come back out?

I am assuming it is still legal to race at the moment and the officials were all momentarily confused.

We just have to wait and see.

There is another car that is +125 laps down, more than the DeltaWing (+58)

I'm going nowhere.

this is the link posted to the LM blu flag rules.
http://www.europeanlemansseries.com/en/s02_corporate/s02p15_drapeaux.php

Blue flag: A faster competitor is about to overtake.

There are no other specifications.

Who say faster drivers have to find their way through slower cars post some official links instead of trolling with bold characters.

Yes. A driver is about to OVERTAKE. It dosent mean you need to move.

The Audi's have really rolled off the pace. Understandable of course but it still sucks.

Hopefully they will all break down and we can have a proper race between privateer LMP1's.
