Can no one stop the Audi's? This is getting ridiculous.

Why? They earned it.

Plus, things are going to be quite different starting in 2014 so they're really just closing out these next couple years.

11 wins in 13 years.

Yup, considering that Bentley was basically an Audi R9. It had the same engine as the R8 LMP and even some of it's drivers. Audi has only lost twice, their debut year and in 2009.

I just realised I have been watching this race in HD.. Oops :p

Agreed. I want to see 3 competitive teams in the 2014 race. It will be so much better of a race

Is it a coincidence that they keep showing 5 Hour Energy commercials?

IMO they don't exist in this race anymore. Overall lead goes to first LMP2 car across the line. :p

That's pretty accurate, considering no-one can hear them because they're so quiet, and no-one can see them because they're so quick.;)

I don't see why people hate the Audi, the Toyota had a good run, but Le Sarthe is judge and executioner it would seem and the rest is history. I'm liking the fact that Mazda are going to bring Skyactive Diesel to the playground. They to me were the least likely to come back to LMS but I was wrong.

Looking forward to another fighter

Can someone please explain what happened to the toyotas, i wasnt awake for that part.

#8 wrecked hard at mullsane
#7 collided with the deltawing then had other issues leading to it retiring

Currently watching this with my little lad because he had a bad dream I think. He is loving it! I tried to put his favourite cartoon on (Spongebob) and he wanted me to put LeMans back on instead! :D! Hope you guys are enjoying it!

Davidson and a Ferrari got together and the Toyota flipped about two times with both cars ending up in a tire wall. Nakajima in the sister Toyota was far too eager and ran into the Deltawing causing it to wreck and damaging his Toyota as a result. The 7 was fixed and then broke down again due to Altenator issue, then fixed again but something else happened, and from what I'm hearing is now done.

No.8 Toyota TS030 collided with a Ferrari near the end of the mulsanne corner and the no.7 TS030 has suffered an engine issue. I'm gutted that they both out and it's a horrific start for them. Hopefully they can still race on all WEC championships rounds after Le Mans.

Looks like Jan is really kicking that Vette in the Guts and pushing it closer and closer to the Ferraris.

74 is back out by the way.

Videos:

The #7 collided with the DeltaWing, which caused sensor problems in the Toyota. Once they got the car back on the track, the car was 23 laps behind the leader. 2 hours later they retired.
