May take a while, but I hope that'd be the case too... Part of me does miss the sound, but I'm loving how they can harness so much power and combine it with less drag without too much compromised in downforce. I mean, jeez, look at the racing on show!I agree with you hsv that oil will probably run out but electric soundless "solutions" are not the answer for solving / saving / evolving motorsports. Electric solutions can add to a certain level of regaining energy but it should not replace the whole concept of "motor" racing. I am sure we can find another type of fuel which replaces the current engine types. without compromising sound.
edit...
Weather slowly turning a bit more dark here....
Light rain reported at Marshall Post #18.
Hugely impractical due to the space required to grow the crops. But there are loads of options, with pros and cons. Electric is just the most viable at this point in time. Can't Ethanol or Methanol be made from plants? You can hardly say cars running on that aren't exciting
Rain in 15 seconds they said?
Yes, biofuel is a possibility. Thing is, you need a huge load of plants to do so. Using biofuel as a major way to propel cars would require so much agrucultural space that entire countries would have to starve to death, from what I've heard. Can't Ethanol or Methanol be made from plants? The 16 year old has gone off. Not very surprised.
