Does anybody know what audio is along with the Audi stream?

Is it Radio LeMans?

Leena Gade on the radio with Andre Lotterer just said something about the rain. Correct me if I'm wrong but I could've heard that rain was gonna return.

#3 was a passenger. The #7 was having it's own moment and the Ferrari looks to have possibly crashed into the Audi now.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I can picture it right now!

@AussieGrit: "Hey, you immature German sod who hasn't won a race this year: #LetMeTakeASelfie"

#SebastianVettel: Umadbro?

It might be possable the 458 hit the Toyota 1st .

No, it had no damage at the rear while it spun into the wall. And the Ferrari was on the scene around three seconds later.

He came in way after the Toyota hit the wall.

Basically:
Porsche along the wall
Toyota avoids, hits the wall
Audi #3 slows further
Bird's Ferrari avoids the Toyota, hits the very slow Audi

From the last replay it seems like the 458 smashed into the #3 Audi, La Pierre avoided the wrecks and spun out due to that. If that's the case, I've got to retract my statement about La Pierre being the one to blame, I guess...

Either way, I feel bad for Bonanomi :(

Rain in 2 mins.

Hypothetically, could the Toyota have slowed after seeing the 911 in the barriers, the 458 couldve come along and clipped the side of the #8 causing it to spin in front of the 911, with the 458 now out of control flying through the debris into the #3 Audi? Possible I guess.

They're the ones that are taking out (at fault or not) more than any other GT car.

The need to bash EVERY Ferrari (including the PRO class, which hasn't been in any of these incidents) still isn't necessary.

Look at Sebring in the LMPC. Loads of AM drivers there in that category and guess what happened?

As do I. Ugly stuff.

Seems like the most plausible and thorough explanation so far 👍

Yup, I'll take back what I said as well. It's my natural tendency against ex-Peugeot drivers, sorry .

Seeing the Ferrari hit the 3 now. Still I have no idea why the 81 and 8 were going that fast in the conditions with a big pack of slow cars ahead, especially on dry tires.

So in 2 hours 3 of the 7 factory LMP's have had trouble. We got the 7 (release under review), the 2, the 20 (doubt Porsche will finish), and the 1.... and I see the #12 Rebellion hanging around. Could this be another Rondeau type year? Lol

Yup. Looks like some drops on the 919's onboard as well.

I know right, we've seen so many non-Ferrari GTAM drivers involved in crashes, in one way or another.

Eurosport just confirmed it was 2 separate incidents that intertwined.

I caught the start, left for a while and came back with this... Gonna be an interesting race for sure and looks like it's gonna rain again!

I only found out about the Rondeau less than a week ago.
Sounds like a wonderful thing. I adore it already.

The circuit is drying.

Horrible rain due in 2 minutes.

Last note about electric cars in this thread for me (hopefully :D)

I realise that electrical engines are more efficient. But lets say that we focus entirely on electrical cars, and that we want to completely replace normal combustion engines with these. This in turn means that we need to produce more electricity, which hardly seems like a good thing. Also, I'm not sure if this is still the case, but do electrical cars last as long as your average petrol/diesel car (thinking of the powertain)? Production pollutes more, yet it seems to have taken a backseat in consideration. I guess because it's easier for companies to sell cars having lower emissions, than it is for them to sell the idea of their production facilities being "greener".

I don't see electric cars catching on. They've failed to do so thus far, and I fail to see how that will change.
Espicially considering how far many modern petrol and diesel cars can go on a liter of fuel. I'm in an automotive technology education, and one my teachers informed me of a VW concept that could go 90 km/s on 1 liter of diesel. I'm not talking about the hybrid one, as this one has yet to be put into any real production. But supposdely it could power an Up. I wish I could find the link about it, but I've forgotten what it was called.

Ferrai did cause an accident don't defend them The replay shows the ferrari has been damaged like it rammed the audi

Well, GTE is at least going according to plan, Corvette Racing being in front of Manthey and all...

"them" it was 1 car. And whislt he was fast, it was probable he lost it trying to avoid the Toyota.
