H22s in Civics are a tight fit, and they're pretty much only found in EGs (92-95) and EKs (96-00). Your Integra is based on an "EA" chassis (84-87 Civics). Like I said earlier, you can barely fit a B-Series under the hood of those cars, there's no way you can fit an H22 in there, unless you move the firewall back by about a foot. And that just can't happen.

I was a mechanic, too. I know about that stuff, too. I'm telling you, it won't fit, no matter what.

Mechanic's fix ****. They aren't usually masters of engine swaps.

H22 in an Accord isnt all that rare.

I noticed you said you knew him before which made me think he wasn't the same guy, besides the Accord guy claimed his Accord weighed less than a Lotus Elise lol. On the topic though I'm more with Famine on the modded car scene, if someone wan't to mod their car to make it unique, and they arn't bothered about losing money when it comes to sell then fine, go for it. But to try and make a cheap car a great car, I don't see the point in that. Like Famine said, you can buy a car that's already great for the cost of modding. You can get scong hand TVR's for under 20k, Scoobies or a Skyline. Even if the modded car is faster, a modded Fiesta is still a Fiesta, a TVR is better.

hey mod. YOU CAN PUT A H22 IN AN 87INTEGRA. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO A LITTLE WORK BUT IT CAN BE DONE. YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO MOVE THE FIREWALL BACK ANY.

all you would have to do is get the mounts and shave some areas in the engine bay. My uncle was going to put one in his 86 honda civic hatchback. My dad and my uncle both know you can put an h22 in a older model honda and acura by just shaving some areas, and without moving the firewall back.

I always use the shift key, but back on topic. Why does everyone who is modding a Honda wan't the H22 engine, it's not that special is it.

Its powerful for a stock honda engine. The jdm h22 has over 200hp. That would be a good amount of hp in a small honda. Then turbo charge it. In this magazine they had a 93 honda civic hatchback with a h22 turbo charged. It was a 600hp street legal civic. Of course with some other minor modifications

I'll have to side with Famine here. With a new car you'll get warranty, better reliability, less miles on an engine you've broken in (hopefully correctly), and it won't be prodominatly a drag car.

It is. But I wish that someone told me that Hyundai Accents SUCKED before I bought mine.

Yeah thats the same model but its not mine. mine is black and its the special edition. That one has the body kit that i seemed to like for mine.
