R10 is more planted in low speed corners. The Pug is accelerates faster and I think has a higher top speed. It also has better high corner speed but if you get distracted it will kill you (racing hard). I have only spun the R10 once. I can also see the corners better in the R10.

I like the 908 too, sittin on 3.5 mil crs now, so in another twenty minutes or so , I will be at the dealership :)

I visited the dealership twice... :dopey:
And I came out of the dealership with a smile on my face, twice aswell... :sly:

I was driving my blue 908 around the Top Gear track until... ummm...

5 AM!!! This game makes sleep tough to come by!

Awesome car on an awesome track - love the heat shimmer effect!!

LMAO i thought i was the only one going with that line of thinking.

I've seen the accident, but seriously you don't like the Peugeot just cuz Ant made a mistake? Peugeot was so much quicker in that section and was on the inside... but he could have waited a bit longer i suppose :indiff:

One thing about the Audi R10... The front nose is so tiny... Peugeot has some real presence you have got to admit... :scared:

How does the 88C-V stack up against the R10, 908, 787, etc.?

It's faster, worse looking, more powerfull, standard, and sounds like a petrol... Overall your choice... you bought the game, buy which ever you like and you can afford :sly:

Well since the 88C-V was free, I'll stick with that!:)

908 is a great looking car and I'll get one just not the factory car. And yea he hung the Vette out to dry with no where to go but into the wall. The 6 of us that were watching live couldn't comprehend anyone being that stupid and as big an ass in his interview after that stint.

I've got both... that Toyota as I cannot sell it... and 2 peugeot's cuz i like them, and i'm a saddo so i bought two

The 787B can run these races just as well as any of the other cars mentioned in this thread. Add a little downforce and you'll be lapping people in no time

Just now I raced against 4 Veyrons online on daytona super speed way. Used a 908 and owned them all.

They were trying to shove me off the track and it didn't work. :D

Yeah man, although I want to race against someone who has a Audi R10 TDI.

How is that possible that some obscure Japanese group c car is faster than a Le Mans winner from only a year ago?

Because the Toyota 88C-V is the most overrated car of all time in GT. It was already the case in GT4.
In real life, this car is crap (but someone in PD must love this car). The 908 is the fastest car round Le Mans ever, even faster than the 905. But in GT, it's not the case, and unfortunately, the 905 is screwed.:ouch:

I have the 905 and 908. I still love the 905, I thank it doesn't spin out as easy and its a legend. 908 is awesome as well.

Also if anyone is wanting a hopped up car like this and can't either afford it or wants a 905 to their collection then I have a extra one Ill give someone. Yes I did the birthday thing for 92 and got a couple of 905s.

But there are a lot more technical regulations today, so shouldn't the 88C-V still be quicker because of that?

In a straight line it would dominate both the 908 and R15+, around the turns it would be hopeless in comparison.
Dam have to say there are alot of fans of the 908 here... I am an Audi fan, with all the 908 bloating, I have to say amazing 1-2-3 from Audi this year, Peugeot on the other hand tried to show it had more pace than it did by running the turbo's a tad too hard and it all ended well ;).
For me personally the Audi R8 01' is the ultimate LMP, in the real world the greatest race car statistically, that too didnt win from raw pace, but reliability.

Does someone want the 908 Total version? I have one available for trade for the Oreca version. I want that one badly because mine got corrupted in a transfer.

I hate Bugatti people, none can drive and they always crash into me (maybe because im better than them)

personally, i think the veyron is a fail as a "supercar". the only reason why it became a "supercar" is because it's expensive and has a 1000+ HP, and that's all it has. a 1000hp that the car can't even realistically use except on circuits with super longggggggg straights.

the earlier supercars are real supercars, like the McLaren F1.

No way. Round Le Mans, both the 88C and the 89C-V did a 3'25 lap time in qualifying without chicane. The 905 in 1992 did a 3'21 lap in qualifying with chicanes and the 908 did 3'19.7 in 2010 (3'18.5 in 2008).
(note that the track change a bit between 1992 and 2010).
To understand how the 905 was fast, just look at the time of the Mazda 787B in qualifying : 3'43.
22s slower, twenty-two.
It's not a matter of regulation, it's a matter of preference from PD.👎

The 905 must have been mega quick for it's day considering it was a whopping 10 seconds quicker than the Audi R8 that's 9 years younger! I don't know if the rules changed considerably between the 905 and R8 (maybe cars just for qualylifing or special qualylifng tyres?) they probably did but still a 3.21 laptime is amazing.
