Meanwhile it has become obvious to me that the 4 second a lap difference between the RWD merc (ssr5) and the AWD cars needs to be addressed. On this note I will be testing on a regular basis so will need good drivers to help me out. I am thinking more power, free turbo choice and more weight.

Pagey was as quick in the Alfa as I was in the Merc as SSR5, the Alfa's tyre wear let him down.

Also a note about qualifying at SSR5- I was on for my quickest ever lap and a sure pole: 1:22.4xx, but reached Ellis at a bad time in the lap and lost it all.

This is true but I still want to test a few things so we have some good data. I can then pick the best figures to implement after we start again.

Well it's a shame that this now means all series I was competing in have been postponed or cancelled. Although I didn't have any real issues I can't really argue with the decision seeing that other drivers did. Hope this bug is fixed in the update next Wednesday, I really do. Sort it out PD ffs.

I know a few of those bumps were my fault so sorry for that. It was just carelessness more than being over aggressive, never intentionally cause contact in any situation.

I was going to take the diplomatic approach as I generally do when threads I'm involved in get out if hand, but was beaten to it and agree completely.

The best thing is to start from scratch I reckon. Just consider all beforehand as testing.

Maybe to those who have wonthr four races so far, give them a bonus point per win when the new table starts, to reward them for their success. I'm sure nobody will argue with that and a little love is shared all round 👍

I was looking through the track list for this season and was pleased to see Spa. I then looked at the track that would be raced after it: "Deeep Forest Raceway". Emphasising how deep it is?

Potential idea for bonus points: 3 for a win, 2 for second, 1 for third.

Hi Guys...I have just read all this...wow, what a pity. I havent seen such bad "bugs"before.

Even though I am not participating may I suggest:

Why don't you all do a speed test on your connection and check the results, maybe the best results can try host.

Also...try the formation lap idea, maybe two, sometimes a mass start causes huge lag, and then it battles to keep up for some connections.

What if you try split the field 3 ways, have less guys in a room, say max of 8.

Just suggesting, give it a try.

Oh Yes.....if you restart the series, it should be on a Friday night at 7pm.....so I can race.....LOL....LOL. (kidding)

Also makes sense mate. Berty will be getting a strong worded PM later, and I'm not one to complain but this is needed, as always seems to be at the beginning of a series. This can be cleaner and not so destruction derby like.

I am yet to view the replays but I recieved a number of complaints regarding a couple of drivers and Ill have a look and maybe talk to the drivers involved. I will include some kind of penalty when I have looked at the footage. It wont be too hefty at this stage though as we are starting from scratch.

I had then an instant 13 sec gap between me and Spurgy => Podium was gone.
Had a fine race with m1, Rich, wordup and Sandman for the last places (3-7).
I had a little crash with Rich who made a Superb drift but spun and I couldn´t avoid.
=> Pitstop at lap 6 for me.

After that I did some consistant times and coud get near to wordup, Sandman and m1 thought they had to pit but did it already ??.
m1 was finishing 3rd adn I only could pass them Cally´s for the 1-4 Benz finish.

Will watch the replay for the start incident.

In the start, if anyone have probs in the start, the host put the "pace car" in the track, Him self lol and we need to slow down at the group join again, and restart the race in next lap like a pace lap.

Extra points, Pole and Best lap, 1+1 point! or 2 point for pole, something like that.

My understanding is that the whole Season starts again, with bonus points to those who have had (maybe) podiums.

And I probably wont win the next time round because the new regs take a second a lap out of the pace difference between the Alfa and Merc so, I won by 4.7 seconds at Fuji, then take away 10 seconds, 1 second for each lap, ill lost by 5.3 seconds and come around 4th? And at GVS I won by 3 tenths, thentake away 15 seconds (15 laps) so Ill be 14.7 seconds behind and in about 6th, great.

1. Pipi, dont leave us because of this stupid bug. Dont throw away what will be a great championship.
2. All the drivers need to be more involved in the thread with ideas and opinions not just the same 8 people all the time.
2. I understand the frustration of the guys who didnt get any lag now I have decided to re start this. I know you have worked hard for your points but they will mean a hell of a lot more if you have to fight that little bit harder for them.
3. When the season re starts I want everyone to know that although we value our drivers we dont want you if you are rage quitting or smashing into other people all the time. I would rather you went elsewhere as I have not been impressed by a few things on the replays.
4. Thanks to Wordup for helping me out and putting up with the pressure of being div 1 host, I dont think people know how stressful it can be so 👍

PS. If the bug gets fixed ALL races will start on time and only 1 restart will be allowed, I will incorperate this into the rules.

Not sure if there was a 4 second lap difference between merc & AWD (ssr5) in div1, we had merc on pole and Alfa second at Q, John was also very quick too but got the bug.

Agreed, cars should be as balance as possible. But like I suggested before, there will always be some car/driver/setup combo which are quicker (or much quicker) then others. May be some simple handicap system (we don't want to spend too much time on race night to check every car with different weight/power etc) could close up the field even more, just an idea.

Im pretty sure Brett was just throwing some ideas out there Spurgy regarding turbo/power upgrades etc. Until this bug crap is cleared up im not convinced we can put some accurate data together anyway. Sit tight matey have a cuppa and ride this poop out then some of us can test glitch free and see where we are at:idea: Maybe the Alfa for example is just fine how it is im not wasting anytime testing right now theres little point.👍
