It was an awesome battle Sakery :D But unfortunately i dont have a capture card, but i shall take some pictures later on

Was a great race butI slightly touched Joe and I slowed down for him to recover. He "gave up" 2 corners later though. Sorry again.

You were lagging a lot for me, so I decided to stay behind you after that. I carried on for a few laps but wasn't going anywhere.

Pagey- Plutonium, coal and semtex to get her started in the cold weather :D

Sakery- Looks like I missed a good race :(

Joe- Are you staying for S2 mate? I hope so, looks like your car will be getting a boost of some sort too!

How can you run out of coal you're in Wales

I´m looking forward to Season 2. A forced Car change would be great *joke*
You can't do that, I love these starts too much for that ! :nervous:

Good racing btw Sakery on Nurb. Side by side through the last corner but you got a better exit. Don't think I got that corner even remotely right all race.

I might stay, but it'll become a 100% turn up and drive for me, as I won't really have time with 4 weekend series going on.

Tyrrell- Because the English nicked it all

Joe- Good man, its turn up and drive for me too. I like it for that reason :D

You charge us £6.00 to go across the seven bridge into Wales, so we stole your coal while we were there :D

Did take some pictures of Pagey and Sakery on my phone, but it wont send to my laptop so I gave up :D Tyrrel, get what you mean now, it was quite hard getting the braking right when you were in someones draft, you did well 👍 And good to see the Merc is getting a boost, and a big one by the looks of it, guessing 1.7 is quite big or? :)

Pagey- good call!

Spurgey- Not really a big boost. Ill explain whats going to happen- Alfa and vauxhall are basically the same as my 247 tonne computation device only takes into account roughly 75% of factors leaving a large margin unaccounted for so the difference is negligible.
Mercedes showed a larger difference so will recieve a small boost. At a GUESS I would say 10bhp may be knocked off the AWD cars or the minimum weight limit removed for the mercedes only.

I was hoping for a little more seen as a Merc is quite annoying to handle compared to the others due to its RWD, and its not as easy to get a good run out of the corner, but we'll see how it goes 👍

Haha, you made your point but I already know what I am going to do. Merc did a lot better than the points tables show :D

I know we did well, mainly due to our good teamwork and naughty practicing/getting a really good tune each race :D Let's just hope we get 4 merc drivers at every race next season :) And as long as I can keep up with Pagey fairly easily ill be happy :)

Right you bunch of bum bandits..... I have made a decision......

Your gonna have to put up with me for another season!

I have thought long and hard, and came to the conclusion, that I will never get any better if I don't have a reason to push my capabilities to the limit. Also the fact I didn't come dead last in the championship was a nice feeling lol!

Hopefully I should have my new upgraded wifi modem by race 1 for Season 2. Just hope 3 pull their finger out there arses and get it here pronto......

Sorry i havent been in contact guys, two things happened! one extraordinarily busy due to a family emergency and two my ps3 finally went pop!

thankfully borrowed a mates ps3 and mines been sorted now so I should be good to go fingers crossed!

good choice dave :)

I feel much the same but i remember two fundamental things:

1) dont try any kamikazee moves that may not pull off, they often end in tears, and the biggest one...
2) you are racing the track, not the other cars. you are trying to set the fastest lap that YOUR individual car can achieve with YOUR skills and YOUR setup. far too often I have tried to copy a cars line, block, move uneccesarily and put myself at a disadvantage when essentially all i needed to do was what i would usually when no cars were there.

I hope we can both improve this following season and who knows what may happen 👍

Ray, sort of true :D You are racing the other cars, but I think sometimes people think too much about making it difficult for the other person to overtake, and think to much about how to overtake them. And I wouldnt just take your normal line because it will probably leave you to open to be overtaken. Just move to the inside and make the person behind go round the outside. And when youre overtaking, take a wide line into the corner before a straight, so you get a better run out and can pass easily :)

Thats a very interesting point you make there Ray, and something I will definately keep in mind! Thanks mate :D

I have to say, looking at Season 2, most of the tracks are a bit well..... um..... crap lol!

Only looking forward to 5 of them!

New modem arrived today, it seems faster on the computer compared to the old one, so it should definately be faster than my other wifi modem I have :D Will find out soon enough, but I think it should be good to enough to remove any lag I have encountered before :D :D

Ray- Good point mate, try and drive well and beat your own times and you will start to move up the grid as you gain experience. Overtaking and going defensive as Spurgey (our future F1 driver friend) says and you cant go far wrong 👍

Dave- Im off to check the tracklist :D

I'l make it simple Bret.

Monza weather, Le Sarthe, Tokyo (bearable), Suzuka, and obviously the season finale..... Nurb 24hr :-D

London is gonna be a nuisance as its such a tight track, I forsee a lot of people getting aggresive in their bid to get past their opponents.

Tsukuba is a simple yet boring track, and as for Monaco...... i think I am gonna have a note from my GP saying I'm too suck to race lol! I'd rather stick a hot poker up my arse than race there. Never liked the circuit, neger will, for the simple fact that the track has a weird greasy feel to it on the real settings, and it's just damn tight, with no margin for error.

And don't even get me started on Cape bloody Ring. THE most un-natural course ever. I honestly think we should change that to Route X lol ;-)

The remaining tracks are meh, nowt special, take em or leave em kinda tracks :-)

Anything with weather is good for you in the AWD cally. I cant believe you have hate for monaco and Cape ring is always hated on until after the race when 2/3rds of the grid say they enjoyed it. I like the tracklist, should be interesting :D

Ive raced Cape ring before, and my feelings for it never change lol. And Monaco, well, yes it is an amazing track dowsed in history, but it aint for me, not unless its in mini coopers, or summat lol.

Really looking forward to the weathr tracks, once the weather comes anyway!

Im really not looking foward to the weather tracks :D The Mercs basically have no pull out of the corners, they just spin their wheels :( Althought their not too bad through the corners, and the rest of the tracks im fine with :)

This is another point where people can capitalise on the normal lines.

Race drivers take the defensive on the inside naturally. All being good it means an opponent cannot pass. The difficulty is this wears the fronts much more due to producing a tighter turn, and this leads to under steering.

One can take advantage of this by taking a wide line on entry and cutting in a late apex :)

Ooooh I'm full of this stuff lol

But you also go slower round the corner when you go defensive, which reduces tyre wear, so overall what happens? :D

If your oppenent is in an AWD can your pretty much screwed lol!

Seriously though, if your oppenent had his/her head screwed on, they would back off slightly, to be able to take advantage of the gap, by accelerating through the corner, taking advantage of the now slower car.....

Thats my guess anyway

Yep, that's what I do anyway :) but if the driver infront slows down enough he can just hug the kerb and stop any cut backs :)

But then due to his lack of speed he leaves himself susceptible to an overtake on the outside :p
