What shall we do about tyre wear?

Race report: (im the only one that does one but hey :D)

Grand valley went well, i qualified first and after a short battle with Vira i pulled out a bit of a lead before the pitstop. I had a stroke of luck as he lost time in the pits and i came out 6 seconds ahead.
I pulled away a bit but then the tyres went off and i had horrible understeer and hit the wall at one point, plus i had to dodge ETID a few times (who knows what he was doing, mike and brett were having a really good battle untill they ran into ETID doing donuts on the start/finish straight, i think someone may have had too much fizzy pop...bless him, at least he is banned now). In the end i brought it home in first.

London was a nightmare, started last and got scale at the start, but at the next sharp corner he just stuck his car on the inside and pushed mine wide. Him and vira tangled so i passed them and they both pushed me wide using me as their brakes :( anyhoo i finally managed to get away and made up a few more places as others made mistakes.

All in all not bad :D
 
Eh I'l do one.

Race 1 - Qualified rather badly about 8th I think. Race started well but then IMMORTAL span in front of me. I'm pretty sure it wasn't my fault but if it was apologies, probably why he quit. After that I got pitted by a Mercedes and then I tapped ETID on the hairpin which spun him out so I waited for him to recover which left me well down the field. I managed to get past ETID and Shakunee and almost Brett but it wasn't to be. Not a good race in all honesty.

Race 2 - Much better this time. Started 4th I think. Held off Brett for the opening few laps. Don't know how as he was right behind me. Caught up to wordup and got past on the first corner. After that it was a very nervy final few laps holding off Brett as he was literally on my bumper for most of it. Finished 3rd, first podium of the season :D:tup:.
 
Nice reports lads, we had a good race at London Tyrrell. Do you have F12011 mate?

Ellis- Yep, he was messing about on track during the race. I smashed into him while haveing an excellent race with Mike :(
 
Sorry about last night guys.

I had a good race up until lap 3 when Tyrell pulled away. Sorry if I hit anyone off I had no grip on back tyres so couldn't drive in a straight line.
 
Etid- No worries, all that awful music must have messed your brain up.

Ill update the OP today, should make for interesting reading after a mixed bag of results last night :)

OP updated. I recieved 3 complaints and will look into them today.

Stewards complete, ill apply the penalties later 👍

Room opens at 9, qualifying at 9:20. Race starts after 15-20 minutes qualifying. Race 2 starts a few minutes after Race 1 ends. Usually finishes by about 10:30. :)

Guys I am bringing this championship to a close at the end of this season which will be cut short by one week. I have really enjoyed racing with you lot but I feel it is time to move onto something new, if anyone wishes to carry on with this you are more than welcome.
Any of the new guys that are looking for wednesday night racing are free to take one of the 3 spaces left in my F1 2011 series that will be replacing this. Im stuck installing GT Academy atm so might be a couple of mins late, its at 50% so might as well wait for it to finish.

In the first race i qualified badly (im normally good at trial mountain) and started back in 5th. I made up some places at the start but then lost the back end badly, i just managed to save it but i lost 2 or 3 places because of it.
I was stuck behind spurgy for a bit but managed to get past him after a while, i think i got mike at some point as well.
Then in the last few laps i caught scale who was on very badly worn tyres and came home in 3rd :D

Second race went pretty much the same, i started well but i spun on the last corner and was well down the pack.
But i carried on and took large lumps of time out due to the battles up ahead. I again managed to fight my way through, with some awesome battles along the way and stole 2nd from tyrell who was on worn tyres.

All in all not bad :D

Qualified brilliantly to get second, it was first for a while, but then IMMORTAL put in another lap :grumpy:. Got off to a good start and kept IMMORTAL within view for the entire race, which was nice. Nearly got taken out by Shakunee driving across the road, would not have been happy if that had happened. Very pleased with second, love this track along with Deep Forest. 👍

Race 2 was just as good. Started one from last due to reverse grid and slowly passed people who spun until I was in a four car train with Spurgey, Sakery and IMMORTAL. I decided to pit a lap early as I was losing quite a bit of time in the pack. Came out in 3rd behind IMMORTAL and the yet to pit Sakery. I pushed like crazy for the next few laps until the tyres went sour on lap 13 which allowed Pagey to get passed. Cracking drive to get to second Pagey, thought you were well gone the last time I saw you facing the wrong way on the straight.

Did I hear something about some races being dropped? It sounded like the last round was being dropped or something, I only caught part of the conversation
 
I will personally guarantee you a place mate. I have told everyone they must either attend the pre seasonal or inform me they cant make it or they are binned. Some sap will have signed up with no intention of turning up and if they dont, you can have my place :lol:

Boy am I glad we aren't dropping races anymore, if I finish well in the last 4 races i should be champion again :D:D
 
Tyrrell- Nice one you are up as first reserve shortly to get a drive (at the pre season of course :D)

Pagey- Yes you are very lucky we do not drop them anymore :sly:

If you are signing up please check which teams have space and make sure you have the car required. We allow a maximum of 12 drivers per division.
Race length is going to be roughly 20 minutes with 2 races every wednesday night, 915 till 1030 at the latest. Finish positions of the first race will be reversed to form the new grid for the 2nd race. You must pit at least once in both races or be disqualified.
We are no longer dropping results so try and make every race 👍
Only the top 4 drivers results (per team) will count in the constructors championship.
