Pagey- Welcome to the world of AWD You will be good at TM but for SSR5 its an excersise in damage limitation, you can get the alfa to turn in better using the suspension and turn under braking rather than the RWD approach. No worries man, the cars are supposed to handle better at tracks that suit their drivetrain and worse at ones that dont 👍

Spurgey- Most definatley! He will like the grid starts more now though

I think i definitely prefer rear wheel drive, im praying the Merc shows up in the dealer for S3. Oversteer i can deal with and set up around, understeer im useless

Well the only team spot available is the Calibra unless you can get a Merc driver to swap with you. Give it a few races and time to tune and I think you will start to like the Alfa.

The Alfa at SSR5 is horrible. I got the worst understeer I have ever had. So I set the car up for maximum oversteer, all the power to the back, suspension set up with the front end hard and the back end soft etc.
Everything was set up to create oversteer....yet I went on track and the car still wouldn't turn in.

What sort of times are you knocking out at SSR5 Pagey??

My fastest is a 1.22.6 but i cant get anywhere near that now, averaging 1.23s, i know thats pretty quick but i know the car can go faster

Ive no idea how but i banged in a 121.9 today, no doubt next time im on wont get anywhere near it.

I think 124/5s will be more than good enough for the race however.👍

Fairly certain it was wind assisted. Shouldnt worry strangely it all goes downhill (literally) at TM.

Just had our final V8 season 2 race bug riddled joke. I qualify first car dies on the start line another guy more or less stalls. Driver thats struggled all season finds random speed and pulls away?? My car unrecognizable for 4 laps all of a sudden its like im given the rocket in Mario Kart or 200bhp more than everyone else and fly passed the field in the last 2 laps.
Not paranoid now Berty just convinced this is a waste of time until when and if the update fixes this major online flaw.👎👎

Thanks for posting setups! Had a go at SSR5, its not a track I know very well so only managed 1:23.5xx, with a bit more practice a think I can make 22's but might just concentrate on TM tomorrow!

1.23s are great times, especially if you do them consistently, and if you get into the 22s I think you should be fine in the race And I think its a good idea concertrating on TM, its a really bad track for the Merc as I mentioned in my message, the track and the car both have a lot of understeer

I've been cycling the UCD to try and get the other 2 cars, but so far the only thing that's appeared is another Merc. 👎

Joe- You got over 4 weeks to get them mate and you will be ok (probably) even if you dont so no panic yet, remember to let me know when you get another car.
