What shall we do about tyre wear?

I thought it was the other way round!!!!
Ok ill investigate later on but if this is true then the Alfa drivers will be happy.
Are you guys driving the Touring Car or the Super Touring car versions?

The turnip is a proud but dim vegetable, any other root is its poorer cousin. Havent you ever read a book!!!

The Touring Car version is the Opel, the super touring car version is the Vauxhall.

The calibra did not compete after 1996, maybe the root vegetable label belongs to you!
I use the super TC, which is 1060kg. I will double check to see if I can reduce the weight and get back to you.

Spurgey- I will confirm tonight.
 
I briefly confused the '00 Astra with these, but read the edited post above.

EDIT: The Opel version comes with less power and torque than the Vauxhall version.
 
Im sorry to correct you there Brett, the Opel Calibra is from 1994 :D

Oh, I see now. I hope I can perform a stage 3 weight reduction so the cally and the Alfa can drop some weight :D
 
Ok, thats cool, I dont want to drive the Opel anyway. So we will leave it as it is for now, having super in the name has got to be worth 20kg on track :lol:

From this day forward, the Merc shall be known as the "Super Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II Touring Car '92". It will also win the "longest car name" award for the series.
 
If you call it that we will have to change the series name to 90's DTMWSOBTMIAAYC :D If you guess it you get a special prize.
EDIT: Its based on this Super Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II Youring Car '92" but Joe editted it because he has clumsy fingers :D

:lol: calling something super makes it faster, just like adding GTI, GSI, SRI, GTE, Type R. Type S. In the 80's and early 90's ford used to emblazon the word INJECTION down the side of their Escorts!!!

They totally work, just like spoilers on Corsa 1.1's provide 300lbs of downforce :D
