Btw Brett, was looking through the OP and I noticed you put autumn ring at 18 laps, even though its longer than 2 or 3 other tracks  And who is shaun? Hes down as being in Team Merc but I havent seen him around, I probably missed him joining on the thread :D

Dave- Gog as in 'Gogledd' welsh for north. Our roads are awesome, thats why i am such a good driver

Spurgey- Shaun is a friend of Knelly's who said he wanted to race this week 👍
I wont be practicing tonight, I made dinner this evening and now I dont feel too good :yuck: (I cant cook)

If it was tenderised in any way, then it certainly wasn't done by Bret haha!

Jesus, the joke was good but not that good. Now think of a new subject....
Did anyone test tonight? Which of the cars are looking like the favourite at LS?

Might have touched a nerve......

As for me i wont have a clue untill i get on track, haven't had a chance to practice :scared: plus im busy all day tomorrow till 7
I think i will be relying mostly on luck

Im struggling bigtime for spare time i may with regret have to opt out of this one trying to burn the candle at both ends aint working.:ouch::guilty:

Me and Joe tested, Laguna i think will be an Alfa track, and Rome looks to be a Cally track but only just, the Alfa and Cally are quite even there, and obviously it depends on other peoples setups and things :)

In the Merc im doing a 1.25.0 at Laguna and a 1.07.8 at Rome :) Also on tire wear, Laguna seems to be quite hard on tires but Rome doesnt seem too bad.

Just did some practice,

1.27.2 at laguna seca although there's quite a lot of room for improvement there, it's one of my favourite tracks and I usually do well here. I seem to be having quite a lot of under steer though which is unusual. Corkscrew is also catching me out a lot. :scared:

1.08.5 at Rome which was pretty decent I felt considering it's not one of my strong tracks.

Edit : damn pretty far off division one.

Yeh, I found there was quite a bit of understeer at both the tracks too, so I just set everything to oversteer :D

JB- If you decide you got to then thats up to you but it would be a shame to see you go.

My first testing session will be qualifying tomorrow

I'm about the same at Rome. Looks like we battle again!

Hey, illsee my guys at 9 as per usual. Doing a numbers check tonight to see if its worth keeping 2 divisions or not let me know your thoughts 👍

2 Divisions surely. Unlikely that will you get everyone into the same room, and even if you did the race would probably have bugs and lag. Keep it the way it is, I say.

In my opinion We should have two divisions for the FGTC. What numbers do you get for this still? :) Because over 12 people in a lobby with VC is what causes the lag :)

I dont mind either way, with 1 division there will be more people so more exciting races, but with 2 we can have more people so youre not always racing the same people every season :)

Ok guys, two divisions it is then, I will eventually get on to doing some recruitment for this

Ellis- 17 for season 3 at the moment. Suggest it on that thread mate, we can talk on there about the FGTC 👍

I'm thinking of dropping out. I'm just not feeling the DTM feel to it. Not as good as I thought it turned out to be and I'll be starting college soon so won't be able to play on Wednesdays anyway.

I'm not sure if I defo will but it's a maybe, I'll get back to you.

Just let me know when you make your decision.
If division 1 numbers drop any lower ill collect a list of dedicated drivers to form a single division.

Just had a little practice with Knelly. I was slightly quicker than him at Laguna Seca (barely anything though), and was slower than him at Rome. Slipstreaming just about kept me behind him the whole time, and I had a chance for 1 move on the final (8th) lap. I couldn't pass him though, as the Merc understeers in the high speed corners and that's where I'd gotten alongside.

It really was, and I almost messed it up. It's often you lead Joe for 8 laps, in any car or on any circuit.

Laguna was a little different, those that make the least mistakes will get good results here. Sooo much run off spots if you miscalculate or get out of rhythm.

What times did you both do? :)

I couldn't get below a 1:08.4xx in his slipstream at Rome. Slipstream helped down the straights, but killed me in the fast corners before the end, and the first corner.

I think the times at Laguna were low 1:26's at their quickest. Most of the time I was above 1:26.5 though.

My best was an alien 1:26.6 but other than that looking at mid to low 1:27s .... if I can stay on track.
