Yeah, well your opinion sucks. (just kidding)
I stated why I don't like the tracks, I said nothing about using overpowered cars at all.
Indy road course, I actually like. Not sure why, when the other, similar tracks, make me rage. I think it's because it's significantly wider and the corners feel like they're laid out with some thought and planning.
(1)
Daytona is narrow, flat, and it seems they just took whatever roads were laying around and turned them into a "road course." It's a challenging and difficult course (despite not really having very many corners) but it's annoyingly so.
Sebring is the same. Played in Forza 3 and I hate it.(2)
Large sections of the course take place on partially marked sections of parking lot. The last 180 degree right hander before the finish is a huge series of bumps that require you to go pointlessly slow to not wipe out on what should be a perfectly flat surface. And like Daytona, the different layouts and collection of roads that make up the course, cause parts to lead off into different directions with less markings than I would want. This isn't rally, when I race a track for the first time, I shouldn't need a co-driver. lol (it's not
that bad though)
(3)And the Nürburgring(spelling corrected), I never said it was bad. In fact, it's an excellent collection of turns and straights that makes for amazing practice and training. Unfortunately, it's very narrow and winding with elevation changes, width changes, and bumps galore. This makes it bad (in my opinion) for an actual competitive race with a large number of drivers. Mostly, the guy in first (regardless of if he's actually the fastest of the pack, will pull away while everyone else gets stuck behind slow cars, must go slower for lack of track space, or gets caught in those ever-so-frequent 8 car wrecks.
Tsukuba is too small for most races. It's almost as boring as an oval. But again, drifting and other, less mainstream events are good on this track.
A bunch of other tracks, like Nurburgring GP, Suzuka, Fuji, and Cote D'azure, London, Rome (New), and most all "mini" circuits; I don't really like either, but I don't have any real complaints other than "I don't like them."
