Cape Ring's jump is just too cartoonish for me. I'm good with any of the configurations without it. There's some good technical sections there.

Top Gear Test Track for racing online. Like the track title says, it's a Test Track. If I was more into time trials or the show, I might enjoy it.

The Nordshleife for racing online. Seems like I always get punted. However, I love it for Time Trials or Seasonals.

Pretty much any of the GT5's course maker tracks that include a suspension crushing jump.

Cape Ring: Although I use it as a test track, and has some great corners, there's no flow to it, not to mention that jump is just plain stupid :dunce:

Tsukuba: Not a terrible track, but way overused in-game (I mean come on, two endurance events?)

Special Stage Route 7: Would have been better with more interesting scenery, and either removing that sharp bend before the first, and after the second tunnel. Should be more straightened out in general.

Fuji Speedway: Last corners are terrible, wish PD included the '90's track

Cote d' Azur: Now, if it were more accurate to the real Monaco, and had better graphics and lighting, then I'd be happy!

New Rome: Again, not a terrible circuit, but why PD chose not to add the old Rome baffles me

So basically, I don't want to see any tracks removed, but they should be improved upon 💡

After giving this some serious thought, there aren't too many race tracks in GT5 that I really enjoy racing on. This list gives you an idea of the ones I'd happily see the back of.

Circuit de la Sarthe
Cape Ring (needs a few tweaks to make this less arcady)
Madrid (as hatred as Hong Kong in GT4)
Top Gear (flat and boring)
Fuji (prefer the older layout)
Suzuka
Tsukuba (only because it's used too much, and has two endurances races)
Cote d'Azur
Daytona
Indy
Nürburgring GP/F (lifeless compared to the 'ring)
Tokyo R246
Special Stage Route 5
Chamonix

I do think PD got their track selection wrong in GT5, but then that's just my opinion and everyone has their favourites/least favourite tracks.

Bring back Infineon, El Capitan, Citta di Aria & Seattle I say.

I could've done without Nurburgring Nordschleife. For all the work that I know went into it, we could've had 2-3 classics like Midfield, Apricot Hill, Seattle, etc. I would've reserved Nurburing for DLC.

I also would've passed on Madrid and London. I understand wanting to have a balance between circuits and city tracks, but I think if you polled most of us, we'd rather have had El Capitan and Red Rock Valley or SS Route 11.

I like Cape Ring, but it is over the top and way too long. It's kind of like a metaphor for GT5... they tried to put just too much stuff in, but failed to execute it all properly, in the end it could've been even better if the sights were set a bit lower.

I also didn't see a point in rendering the Top Gear Track if it's near impossible to unlock.

Dude that's so genius!

And if you'd poll most of us, you might find that the Nurburgring Nordschleife is much more desired than any of the other tracks :sly:

Though I agree with you about Cape Ring, and the fact that some of the tracks we don't currently have should have got higher priority during development.
