Does anyone have a fast grip car? If you have one I would be happy if I could get a setup for a 500 PP car.

One of the best I have driven at 500PP is the S2000 LM RC, very gripping, great balance, good lap times on most tracks. The Subaru GT300 Base Model is also very good at 600PP

The RUF BTR is pretty good but requires a lot of tuning to tame it ;)

Edit: I just noticed that I typed 600PP on the Subaru I meant 500PP :(

The C63 AMG, ow wait yous asked for a car with a lot of grip... The AMG is fast and has a hell lot of torque but it understeers a little bit and and when you want to compensate that with your throttel, the enormous torque makes the car tailhappy. Oh I absolutely love that car. :D

Free advice: if you want 'results', don't look at Praiano setups. He is not very good at producing setups for best lap times.

Not sure about "best" times as GT has never really kept adequate records and I'm WAY TOO LAZY to keep my own... but of the tunes of Praiano's I've tried... I can usually achieve FIRST! Doesn't matter if you acheive your best time if all it nets you is second.

Funny, I've used a couple of his tunes to crack the top 200 in a couple of time trials. Seems pretty fast for me.

The LFA's one of the best all rounders in the lower Supercar Classes, if not the best. You also have the Rocket, more grip than a Lion biting a Zebra. You also have one of the best overrall cars in the entire game, the MP4 12C. Super GT/JGTC cars are generally highly grippy.

My favorite grip car is the HKS CT230R. It has irreducible camber (I think 3F/1R), but if you play with the rest of the suspension, downforce, and center differential it corners unbelievably well.

When you get the power curve nailed down, the Huayra's a very good car.

i like the LFA but its brakes are one of the worst out of every car ive driven in gt6

Not really all that fast for a supercar though. The LFA is like my favorite, but still gets outperformed by a corvette. At least when i drive them.
Only the C6 ZR-1 ranks higher on the overall performance scale. But for it's PP, both LFAs are one of the best machines and can topple cars with even higher PP.

yeah, still wish it had better brakes. :) Still my favorite "supercar" regardless.
It's very well rounded, faster than FT-1s, the New NSX, the most powerful Street GT-R. Atleast from my testing of all of them. Suffers from brake understeer abit, but I find the brakes good.

The real car I'm told, has awesome brakes.

So have i actually. Not sure why PD would make a car with good brakes have bad brakes in game. ;)

The LFA is closer in performance to the newest Viper, still slower but close. For a 541/547PP machine.

This guy YZF clearly isn't a fan of Praiano's tunes. In fact, he says that a default car from the dealership is better than using a tune from Praiano! LOL!!

Feel free to read the conversation YZF started in Praiano's Garage:

Now, I am fairly new to this community. I just got into the GT series with GT6 in December and I won't pretend to thinky that I know a whole heck of a lot about tuning. Because I have two functioning eyes and can read I have learned that Praiano is held in fairly high regard around GT Planet because most people seem to like his tunes. Is he the best? I don't know? Probably not. But to say that he doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing and that you're better off sticking with a stock setup seems rather foolish to me. Sure, there are going to be people who's driving style doesn't jive with a particular tune. That isn't to say that tune is bad. It just doesn't suit your driving style. Oh, and this guy YZF wouldn't offer up any samples of his great tuning ability...

Just thought you should know. Take everything you see with a grain of salt.

Haha, it all makes sense now, thanks for the link. Praiano has the worst luck with trolls:mad:
