would someone with XP be able to ZIP all the icons and upload them for me? im sick of the 98 icons. it would be mucho appreciated!

Same here. Although I didnt have a XP cd. It was a burned copy of some other dude's XP cd. Well it didnt work so now I have to wait even longer.

The icons aren't actually in .ico format, they're all in a shell32.dll. I can send it to you if you're willing to risk your computer being messed up.

My friend has a downloaded full,working XP home version on cd. Too bad the version he downloaded was a testing version - really old. I think they are called betas.

hmmm...ill pass then. i have windows XP but i like the fact that 98 lets you run pirate software without being caught

XP is designed to only work on one PC. each copy has a unique code.

Maybe so but the guy I got it from was using a burned copy of XP just like the cd I got except his worked and mine didnt.
