Going to be a tough choice in picking the car here. I think I'm going to go with the Impreza or Evo Prototypes with my first run. This should be a very interesting race, and with all that time, we should see some really good times 👍.

Just ran about 5-10 laps with some very quick settings and got a T2 of around 45.9xx.

Did a few more laps and the Xsara is much better than the Impreza prototype that I had tried earlier. Nothing saved as of yet, but best is T1: low 16's T2: low 55's T3: 1:06.1
Final 1:27.1xx. Please don't post this on the leaderboard, as the lap isn't saved. 👍

It looks like my favorite war criminals are going to be the heart of my racing team.

Evo 6 to be exact.
I would use the subby race, but that car just doesn't feel as good.

Also, just for the record, I am trying to avoid using the proto racers as well as the delta.

Personally, I would love to use the corolla since I drive one all the time in real life, but that thing can't even come close to the competition...

Any way, I got in some time with the Evo 6 and it seems to be working just fine (atleast well enough to get a clean lap!).

Was using trial mtn. forward... my bad lol.

This is only my initial work and I am sure there is time to take off.
Once I get in some more time with the combo I will be sure to come back and let you all know how it went.

Drove 20 quick laps. 10 in the Delta and 10 in the Subaru Proto. Any special reason for that you're avoiding them, Kent?

I changed the oil, bringing the HP to 310 for the Delta and 316 for the Subaru Proto. That's not considered being an upgrade, right?

For some reason I feel like it is a cliche to use those cars... I mean, there is no doubt in my mind that the Evo6 is a great car, but I feel like it still isn't up to par when compared to the other cars.

And frankly, for this competition I would love to be able to blame my bad performance on my car and not my skills.

Another big part of it is the fact that I feel like both of the older versions of the evo and impreza look better than the new proto versions.

Now, if the 206 didn't have the view change bug, I would certainly use that car, but it does have the bug and I can't deal with that... So no 206 for me.

Oh well,

btw, just found out I have been running on the wrong direction of the track lol.

Are you sure that this applies to this race? I was under the impression that the car used in the Warm Up Race wouldn't be mandatory for use in the official races.

Hi Icemanshooter was right in thinking that the rule does not apply to this warm up race. It will however help you decide on which car might be best for the 4 races

Had about a 1:27.XXX in the Evo Prototype...fastest car so far that i've tried.BTW don't put this on the Leaderboard until I get a more accurate time.

I tried a few cars tonight, here they are in order ...

Suby proto @ 316hp - 1.26.504
Toyota Corolla @ 315hp - 1.27.6xx
Xsara @309hp - 15.696 / 44.971 / 1.05.330 = 1.25.364

seen 15.4 / 44.6 / 1.05.0 in xsara but with an off so there's good bit left to get in the xsara for sure 👍 will try some more cars tomorrow
