i wont take it seriously which means i will suck but im interested - put me on the list
Who’re you foolin’? :)

Hmm, Ron doesn’t appear to hold the records on the reverse mud tracks?. . I smells a setup!

FYI, The settings provided may not be ideal for each car. I basically relied on the initial settings from the first car and applied them to all the others. I didn’t test the Subaru because both me cars have mega miles and I didn’t want to bother breaking in a new car or creating one via garage editor.

I quit on the VII fairly soon kent, had I continued, I’d probably achieve an identical time to the VI. All the cars I drove are capable of sub 25 lap times. . just that some are easier to get there with.

Thank you for the compliments folks 👍 . For those of you who know me, this is how I generally get involved with projects of interest open for discussions.

I’m new to A.R.C so I’d like to know if there’s a points system in place to determine who the winner will be after the 4 races.

see all of you again after the Holidays.

damn, 2005 and i'll still be playin' GT3?. . My niece and nephew were babies when gt3 came out. . now they’re about ready for Jr. High haha

Well I obviously will gun for the records on those tracks ... thats for sure :sly:

but we can always change the tracks If anyone thinks I have been deliberate in choices 👍 I have no probs racing any rally tracks :)

Feel free to suggest other tracks and the majority choices will be taken and amended over the original choices

Nah, who cares who ends up winning this??? Cripes most of us could guess the three most likely.

Anyways these events with the tracks, especially with the arcade cars, gives GTPlanet members(or some of us) an opportunity to BREAK those records... heck lets make a concerted effort to get them all!!!

At the risk of sounding more than a little wishy-washy, I believe I'll be in this provided GT4 doesn't consume all of my interest should it release before the A.R.C completion date. [If you'd rather not list me due to this, I'd really understand, Mr. P]

Also, I feel like a complete arse. I was amazed at your guys' speeds as I couldn't get anything less than a 1:29.755 using the Evo. That is until I realized I was running without Super Softs (can we say a collective duh ?]. But the Numbers guys are used to my bafoonery and delight in seeing how incredibly stupid a human can be. So, yeah. I'm in.

First real attempt using the Evo VI is 1:27.132. Now to try the x rabbit that seems to be all the rage...

Hi ghost_sgt. :)

You probably don't remember me, but I raced with you in my OLR debut over at GameFAQs in "Badhabits Viper Tourney" last year. Great series, a shame it never was ended properly. :(

It was a pleasure racing with you then, and I'm looking forward to race with you again. 👍

Welcome Ghost_Sgt 👍 If you can only run the warm ups then thats not a problem mate, enjoy ;)

Updated

btw? does GTP keep crashing? or is my internet connection playing up today? I think it's both to be honest 👎

anyway laters guys :)

Small improvement.
same car 1'26.981
Next week I will try some other cars because I have loads of free time then. :)

SORRY

NeilsG! I do indeed remember you. Yes, hab's PC fried out with a few races to go. Talk about shear terror- picking up a dropped series 3/5ths of the way through stinks to no end. At least it was better than the Scalded Dog finish. A verified series is a nasty mother to pick up as well- so many replays to view and verify. I don't think I've seen either admin since. Go figure.

Mr. P, thanks for your gracious acceptance, mate! Now you have that one participant that everyone can say "Well I can beat that guys time in a Mini..." :sly:

Updated 👍

not yet dicided the car, but i've done a 1'35.3xx with the EVO 6.

Sorry I haven't been back in a while.

I would have come back a lot sooner if I had known the leader board went through so many updates... That is to say, I have an update I just didn't announce (thinking that it wouldn't make a difference).

However, it would. :D

First though, I have to say thanks to "otherbrother" because even though I know the how to setup a car like this, I didn't do it until I saw his posted settings next to his times.

So I used a version of those settings for my own car and instantly took about .2 off my time.

Evo VI
1'24.916

👍

Later. :D

Sweet time Kent 👍

Updated :)

Evo VI 1:25.880. And sore thumbs.

I hate rocks. They reach right out and grap ya'. Now if I can find a mark for that sweeping curve. Maybe I can keep from slaving off so much frigging time.

It's a strange sight,a such lowered focus.But the car brought me a 1'26.376.
some laps even faster but not clean.
so I put the evo aside for now.

It'll be a few days before I can get anywhere near the PS2.
My kids got a few new games, and I can't even watch a movie, or "Mail Call" on my big screen for a while.
As soon as the little beggars go back to school, I'll have th joint to my self for a couple of weeks during the day. I'll get on to posting the slow times of the pack then.

At last time for another session:

15.959
45.330
1'06.129
1'26.520

Still in the Delta.

Thanks Jake for posting all those settings. Great inspiration. Borrowed a little. ;) Made my Delta turn a lot better. 👍

Updated 👍

Got it down to:

16.102
45.054
1'05.724
1'26.077

Still in the Delta .

Rotten T1, so there should still be some time out there for me.

Thanks again Jake for sharing your settings. I dropped the inspiration **** and just copied them. :D
Result was more stability and therefore more consistent laps. 👍

EDIT: Ain't much, but looks prettier: 1'25.918 (15.748-44.846-1'05.719).

EDIT 2: 1'25.638 (15.861-44.852-1'05.566)

Great improvement Niels 👍 .... sorry about the oversight :dopey:

Updated :)

Played with a few cars. I was in the Xsara for my fastest run.
I rather enjoy this track in this direction. 👍
I'm sure I've run it before, but I don't remember doing so. :odd:

15.646
44.313
1'04.648
1'25.117

Still a few more tenths in it for me as I slowed too much for the turn inbetween the tunnels and my last sector wasn't very fast. :ouch:
Probably all I'll run for a warm up though. Took me a couple hours to figure out the track. :dunce:

Great time Tuff 👍 Updated:cheers:

btw! are you racing the comp or just the warm up race? just wondering as we kick it off on Saturday coming

Thanks to all for running the warm up and I hope you all enjoy the comp :) Good luck to all 👍

Cya's on Saturday ;)

Thanks for the compliment Ron. Means a lot to me coming from someone as fast as you. Just don't put any effort into your time or I'm sure I'd be moving down a spot. :scared:

I really like this track this direction. Was just looking for something to do when I came across this. The tracks in the series I never do very good at. Ends up frustrating me because I'm so far behind. :grumpy:

After BC4, I'm just trying to run stuff I feel like running. Don't want to feel obligated to run again. Takes all the fun out of it for me. Course, it might be funner if I were faster too. :irked:

I might ghost some though if you don't mind?

No probs mate, feel free to ghost any round you fancy! and I'll mark you up as a ghost in the results :) 👍

Thanks for a fun warm-up race. 👍

I'll get my replays up, while my X-port disk still is somewhat readable.
