A really short drift....

Heres a little video of my "in training" drifting. I did 4 turns, and on the last one I brushed the wall a bit. I'm getting better though. The reason I couldn't really get the rear end out is because I needed more HP. I had 320 something when I did this vid.

I need to get that GT4 steering wheel. The one that turns 900 degrees.



Using the controler is tricky, and you got to be precise.

what tires are you using? you shouldnt need to be much above 300 in a light car. try using N2's if you arent already.
what mods do you have on it? fully moded tranny and suspension?

dont think the wheel is ANY easier. because it isnt! it will take a while to get used to, but its fun when you get the hang of it.

I'll try to tell u everything from memory, as I have B-spec doin the 24 hr ring race.

I bought everything under HKS, with the original suspension and no turbo upgrades except and intercooler. Everything else under engine is bought though.

Tires are N2. Drivetrain is fully modded, and the chassis has been stiffened, along with all the weight reductions.

Thats when I made the video. Now I bought the stage 2 turbo kit under HKS, and I like it a lot more with the added power. I have about 357 or something like that.

heh, im doing the same race as i speak. 4 hours left.
when it gets done post your settings up and ill have a look at them. i can get sideways, and stay sideways with under 250 hp in any of my S13's, coupe, fastback, or sileighty.
 
Well, as of right now, I'm on hour 18.24.

I'm using one of the settings I got from the little depot here.

I'll probably start tinkering with the settings a little bit to see what works and what doesn't.

I then get my F1 car. :)

Yeah I did that last week, I miss that car. My card got corupted and I lost it. I am not sure I'll ever do that damn race again.
