A good car for this event (and future events similar) is the Mazda Demio Sport '10. Lightweight and one gear are really good for these cars. It's actually pretty quick too. :D

Omg - this race was total fun especially if you're racing clean and intent on getting to the finish line without a scratch on your car. Several cars used and easy wins, but working down the PP range with so many compacts available - that's going to continue to be fun.
No time left to race - so more tomorrow.

Is there a Ferrari available for this one? If not, PD screwed my "one brand for each a-spec challanges", and I'll have to go to the closest thing possible. Fiat 500?

Abarth 500 should be awesome for this one, I did it with an EK9 Civic Type R, because I had it in the garage anyway :P

though I had a satanic idea of using an underpowered Ford RS200 :D :D

:D Going through my Lotus' Elise collection......
Will go and get the Abarth again, think I'll keep it this time. And the ORIGINAL Mini. Which, by the way PD, irrespective of brand ownership is and always will be a British car. And we need some 60's/70's/80's British Ford cars as well please. Cortina's, Escorts (ALL!!!), Sierra's etc. pretty please.

The Dino should be able to do it. It was included in my eligible cars but i chose a Mazda Roadster instead. Too easy. I might try the Dino later.

I'm the second one that uses a fit RS, but not stock.:dunce:

Simple settings click spoiler.

If you use my database program for your own tunes database?
download zip and import the zip.

This event is Zamtastic! Gave me an excuse to tune the little Autozam and it's a ton of fun. Running high 1.11's it's enough to get out in front by lap 3 and hold the lead. The scale of the Zam next to the other cars makes a good David and Golith replay also. :D

Dino is 35mm too long :(

Since it's a classic Japanese track why not try a classic Japanese car - the Toyota 2000GT '67 - an easy win but you can always drop pp down :)

Golf GTI MkI, light tune, BBS RS wheels for the looks = lots of fun

This car is so light and so tight on the bends, 1st place on early 2nd lap, but i wouldn't mind if it took all 5 laps because i love these small car races 👍

Oh yeah. That must have been the intermidiate cballenge i saw the Dino in my acceptable cars list. Dang it.

I used my latest release, Lancer 1600RS '74 with less power and full weight for this event.. Kept the comfort softs though for more entertaining race.

This was a nice little Beginners Level Seasonal Event. I took out my rarely used Mini Cooper S '11 and left it stock, except for the SH tires (from CS stock issue) and I had to actually detune the car a few percentage points in the Power Limiter to be at 400PP. I won by 2 seconds without having to push too hard. Lots of inside front wheel spinning around corners...

Use my 'old' Ruf BTR '86 easily won it with all aids off. Just manage 1:06 ** timelap to win it with my DS3. Lol...

Win every time, no matter what I pick up - Cosmo Sport, Fiat 500 R, Mini 1.3i, Abarth 500 etc. Extremly easy event.

Tsukuba...Again....In august there was also a beginner on Tsukuba...Nothing especially against Tsukuba, it`s just sooo over-exposed...Of course GT has a sponsor deal with Tsukuba, OK then...Everybody need a sponsor. I would like a few sponsors myself, meeeeh...

Anyway, I took my IRL car for this one...Ooooh yeah GF and I have ourselves a little yellow Ford KA (Sweet to look at in yellow, drives well, but unfortunately Ford chosed to build it from the thinnest metal sheet avaliable)

Gave my yellow GT6 Ford KA the same data as my IRL KA...70hp...Oh and the weight...My registration papers say 875kg empty, 1000kg ready to go...Hmmmm I let the GT6 KA keep it`s stock weight, 950kg...The outcome (950kg - 70hp) was 296pp...Thats 104pp below the limit...Easy win, did it twice, second time with no contact with AI....Funny enough....Done....Over and out...Goodbye... :)

Kubelwagen & '47 Bug work well too, @geezer1791. 👍

This Geezer started with the 1968 Nissan (Datsun) Fairlady 2000. Chose Japanese in keeping with the location, and I remember many of these on the Australian roads back then trying to attract MG buyers.

EDIT: I'm thinking a Goggomobile Dart would be a good choice (if this was an option in GT6), since there is a length restriction. :D
