You can't stop an incredibly fast and wildly out of control, Audi Pikes Peak Quattro, you can only hope to contain it!

I want to try my impressive Saleen S7 '02 here!! So much fun!! Came 2nd place without being careful though! It is doable!

MP4-12c '10 and the NSX type R '02 both lap times of 2:09 leading to gold. The GTO '84 was not that easy with laptimes around 2:14 I needed a clean race.

The Ferrari 430 scuderia lead to a very close victory on the ZZII of 0,650 sec in a total time of 11:30 with most of the laps in 2:10.

Used my 15th. Anniversary GT40 and still won easily with an ugly dirty race with at least 3 penalties. Passed the lead 06 GT40 with half a lap to go.

If you bring the rice rocket out to play, the Zonda hides in the house. I ran this on 4 different profiles on 2 machines & no Zonda if I run the GSX R/4. As soon as I get out something else it returns. That Zonda was really making me work for my win, so I switched to GSX R/4. Guess what no stupid Zonda!! Switched profiles, grabbed the 458, look the Zonda is back. Quit and snagged the rice rocket. Loaded the race & no Zonda. I quit & reloaded it a few times, but the Zonda didn't appear.
So I tried it again this morning with the same results. So I'm either sloppy lucky or machine head doesn't break out the ringer if it knows it's going to get smoked. So someone else try this & see if it was just a fluke.

Edit; Appears to have been a fluke, tried a 3rd profile & the Zonda is back. Time to kick him in the teeth...

I used the ZZII with Praiano's tune, just turned the wick down. Thanks again Praiano, your tuning rox. Average lap, 2:02/2:03

Having said that, I have always disliked this track, and didn't really enjoy this event, but I hammered it a bit to try to get a decent time. This is with one penalty...AI doing their standard brake-checks on me.

That is an amazing time for the ZZII, I am totally gobsmacked! OK, I gotta practice more, more, more!
Cheers from Pete

I've done at least 10 races in the FT1-Graphite. Lovely stock set up that seems to be perfect for Ascari.

I've thrown a few Ferrari's round the track as well but keep going back to the Graphite. Been one of my favourites since it's release and you don't have to mess with the tune for a rewarding drive.

Maybe the fact I've done hundreds of laps on Ascari has something to do with it though. Great track.

View attachment 301359 View attachment 301360 Tried the ZZ II with @praiano63 tune, 2nd by 1.1 sec. Sooo I went and got the NSX with @praiano63 tune as well. The NSX was the car for me. The rabbits in my race were the SLR and the One-77. The One-77 is the one I literally had to do battle with. I had him at the end of lap 4. Then on lap 5 was when he started the battle, he cut inside me half on half off the track in one of the turns and just knocked me off the track. No penalty??? I caught him right back and he started brake checking, you name he tried it but once I was clear I pulled away. One pic is right at the finish line with my lap times and the other is the finish. I didn't get the prize money either which I didn't care. I really don't want to buy any more cars. I'm up to 200 now and never use more than 10-15% of them. Depending on the price of the Saleen I might try this again though I really don't like this track. I even golded the TT on my 1st lap. Not by much but still gold.

Thanks for that. I'm gonna get my NSX out of the hangar and dust it off for this. Praiano makes this little hummer GO, and I love driving it. Thanks for reminding me! Bring on the Pagani!
Cheers, Pete

Just want to share this, hopefully someone can enjoy the car for this event, simply remove the power parts and use limiter to get into 550PP. Shown below are the tune and the post of the driver who won the event with limiter set at 58.4% :)

Notes :

The car was built for @teth75, he wanted a full power ZR1 that can be driven hard at the Green Hell :)
With the tune above, the ZR1 at 999HP, 679PP easily managed 1:22s on CS tire at Big Willow Springs. It's very much drivable on comfort soft tires, I would recommend Sports Soft for the car, or Racing Hard tire.

Hopefully someone can make use of the car, if you feel it has too much power, remove the supercharger or all of power upgrades to enjoy stock power car which will make it easier to handle and race :P

The tune above was driven by @danbojte :

Settings used:
  • Cockpit view, No Aids, ABS: 0 (2/2 šŸ‘), G27 Wheel;
  • No Power parts added;
  • Tyres - Sports: Soft.

So far I've tried the Ferrari Enzo, Nissan Skyline GT-R vspec II Nur, Ruf CTR2 and Nissan GT-R black edition. All comfortable wins, Enzo being fastest with 11 minutes flat.

Then I thought to myself, how about an Impreza? Have to say I was a little surprised..

I used a KTM X-Bow R and won by two seconds against a Ford GT. I passed it on the last lap, and I made some mistakes after that, but still won.

After long tuning this 15th Anniversary Edition like 'stupid', then I only realise that a downforce can be fix to the normal model. This higher PP edition doesn't allow. Forget it ! Dislike this track. (Ds3)

Is there a faster, ugly and old road car in GT6 than the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 '85? View attachment 301820View attachment 301821

Great job!

But I totally disagree with the adjective "ugly". It's a car that was made at a time when cars still had a "personnality" (205, Golf GTI, Renault 5...) šŸ‘ and didn't look all the same as today... Guess it's different in the US. But here in Europe, many models have the same shape nowadays, sometimes you don't even know which brand and model it is at first sight...

I disagree totally too like Yapa. In the UK and Europe in the 80's this was seen as a powerful bad ass car, it looks like a Rally Car of its day and became one.

Maybe It's the difference between European and American tastes, but look at the European Ford Escort and Ford Sierra Cosworth or Ford Capri from the 80's, they had similar styling.

Every boy racer wanted it and the design screamed power back then. It looks like a classic European 80's rally/muscle car.

Haha we both basically said the same thing! This was seen as hot in Europe in the 80's like a Ford Escort or Ford Seirra Cosworth, not ugly at all. This was the style people, especially boy racers and rally drivers, wanted.

Definitely a matter of different taste with Americans!

I guess my point didn't come across correctly. Is it a sleek and aerodynamic looking machine? NO! That is what makes it appealing to me and why I race it often. The car reminds me of a Yugo, which is probably the most made fun of car in USA history. A lot of people make fun of the Plymouth Superbird for it unique looks and the ridiculous, humongous wing. It's all a matter of taste and whether or not you want to be like everyone else, which is why I rarely race the Suzuki GSX-R. I like to be different, and if you look at what I posted for this seasonal, I posted pictures of Peugeot 205 Turbo and the Pikes Peak Quattro... Two vehicles that don't immediately come to mind when racing in seasonal events.

My vote for the ugliest "modern" vehicle ever goes to the Pontiac Aztek. Can anyone argue that?

I don't think the (205) little beast is ugly, I'd be happy to drive one today. I love little cars, I don't understand how I ended up in a Grand Cherokee, it was there I guess. Winter ends I will be getting back into something more to my liking. I have had a Chevy Monza (basically a Vega with a facelift), a Spitfire, & a Toyota Paseo. The Toyota could hide behind a shopping cart. It had 352,000+ miles on it & was still plugging along just fine. I miss that little beast.
Now that aztek is one fugly critter.

I got to drive my friends Monza back in my high school days. What I remember most other than the V8, 305 crammed in it, was that he had a CB antenna that fell over if we went over 85 MPH, which happened quite often!
