I suggest a stock RUF RGT on SS tires. 499 pp. It's a good time.

 

It just doesn't feel right making the pass FTW on the 2nd lap.

 

Didn't expect a win with first try, but my Eifel Flat Tommy delivered



First ever in Spa, first ever in Rain, visited nearly every sand pit, spun twice at least, got some penalties, so time is horrible - but the ride was still fun

 

A pretty long race, going to try if the comforts soft are faster in the rain than the sport softs. This sometimes is the case with the time trails. But overall pretty simple win.

Yes, on the penalties for sure. Clean racing here we come.

I'm thinking the Subaru NBR might be a bit too easy for this event. Hmmm... I'm going to have a bit of fun finding a win on this!

 

I hope offline seasonal events continue with GT Sport - provides great longevity to GT games.

 

Good old Dino did the job. Winning with almost a minute before the number 2. Sambabus time?

 

Won it with the Shelby Series One with tune by @shaunm80. Piece of cake. Now to try some others. I really like these rain events.

 

Wow, the AIs drive like grandma in the rain...and my damn horn doesn't work. Sheesh

 

Did it with the five RUF gang of cars.

SS tires on all but left them stock otherwise and had to reduce power on the Yellow Bird and CTR2, probably a good thing. The CTR2 has a major front wheel peel problem. The Yellow Bird was a hold on tight machine. The BTR is a complete death trap.

Then, lap 4 is like, okay, now I can drive.

 

I have added this car to the list. Thanks for continuing to use this tune.

 

2nd run, again with Tommy, improved by 55s to finish with a 15:50

Much cleaner run this time, but still have to learn the track before trying
other cars.

That time though!!

I opted for the WRX 22B instead. Also really easy, but only won by a little over 1 second, total time of 16:10. A few stupid mistakes getting used to the extreme lack of grip, but it was a lovely car to drive. Fitted SS tyres, Sports Exhaust, Intake Tuning, Stage 3 Weight Reduction, and Window Weight Reduction for 499 PP. Everything else stock. Enjoyable drive, but tops out at about 230kph, which is pretty slow...

 

Do you a tune for the fordlaser please very nice time there

 

Sometimes I tune myself, that race time l did it should have been a lot better than that because the car was a nightmare to drive.

 

Most cars are a "nightmare to drive" in this event...

 

If you put a good tune on the car it should not be a nightmare, the Subaru I use was a dry setup tune and I need to change it to a wet setup .

 

Easy win with my Nissan GT-R Proto '05 500 PP (SH, SM, SS) with 18 seconds ahead of the second.

Until lap 4. Then it's like, oh here's grip again...

Pretty fun event, especially in the RUF cars.

 

Haha so true. Lap times get better by 5-10 secs per lap as the race progresses. I think my opening lap was about 3:10, which is shocking compared to the 2:45 last lap!

 

Man, the rain physics in this race are just stupid. I mean, how can you get this so wrong PD? They give you LESS grip as you slow down. Go home PD, you're drunk.

15 total laps, won't be back.

 

First three laps use wet racing line, especially in braking, which is basically the line that is not the normal racing line. PD made the normal racing line bright so you can see it. Lap 4 and 5 is OK for normal dry line. Trust me you will FEEL the grip

If you don't know what I mean just watch the master, he misses the apexes on purpose.
