No, it has a V10. I had a 2006 M5 for two years. I can tell you that the engine sounds of the stock M5 in the game are quite accurate, but only for the stock one. When modified, it sounds nothing like the real car. My M5 had a very aggressive exhaust system on it and the exhaust options in the game are not realistic for the upgraded systems.

Thank you

Pretty much the story for every car in this game.

Actually, I somewhat take that back. It sounds like it has straight pipes when the exhaust is modified. As in, removing the cats, the resonators, and the muffler cans. Which is stupid, and no one would do in real life (HP does not improve if you take all that stuff out).

Come on everyone knows all of GT5s noises are completely accurate and replicated in sound studios with large doors to allow cars to fit in them:

See:)

Straight-piping will work unless engine management militates against it... Adaptive ECUs are the primary reason intake modifications suck on many street cars. But in general, the gains are not worth the pain of listening to the drone on long highway stints.

That was hilarious!

I have a straight pipe on my car (inline 6) and it sounds absolutely AWESOME. Also it's from the 80's so no electronics to hinder it. Good stuff 👍
