Downloaded this last week haven't spent more than a hour on it but it seems cool.

Any tips? & Do anyone play il2 stumovik ?
 
@Paulie I got the Morgan as well :cheers:. Now to put it in my hangar to collect dust :lol:.

@vasiliflame: Since you just started you're gonna have to accept the fact that you will get owned by the high tier tryhards in F-22s and T-50s until you start to hold your own with mid tier and leveled up aircraft. Once you accept that, it's alot easier to play the game. Don't loiter around too much in one area because the name of the game is speed, and whoever reaches the targets first is most likely to get the points.

@Bobert power: My F/A-18F took great offense at your assertion of Tomcat is best. :D By the way I got kicked again by tryhards for getting MVP in a room full of F-22s, and T-50s. :lol:

Ahh ok I just unlocked the mirage today .. The menus confuse the f out of me

It took me some time to understand all the menus too. And here's a tip. If you want to get the top aircrafts- don't upgrade those that you already unlocked. The xp-points spread randomly to all available positions, so if you will upgrade already unlocked planes, you will hinder your progress.
 
I updated the f14 only 7800 so thanks for the tip.. Was just on just now getting 2nd and 3rd on my team , enjoying it a littler bit ... But I think upgrades work better than skill

Oops. Well I already knew this, and although I don't upgrade any planes I do buy everything I can on the tree when I can. It really has stunted a lot of progression and have been using the same plane for a very long time now. Getting there sooner or later!

Probably later as there are some parts I'd really like...

And speaking of parts. I looked up a list of all the parts and expenses and noticed there's a Fire Extinguisher M but it is no where to be found on the tree. Saw S but no M. :confused: Maybe I'm just blind.
 
@Downhill Dino: No, there's an S as well, and I personally have the M Extinguisher equipped and I love it. Allows me to fly more dangerously and recover health.

Since there are S, and M parts there will perhaps be L parts added later down the line with Cockpit Armor L serving as evidence to this.

In other news, I got the ADFX-01 Morgan!!:dopey: I tried it out with my last sortie of the night and perhaps due to a little fatigue I flew like crap, only scored 30k and ran in to the ground.:lol: Never the less, I could tell the potential was there, but the TLS is still essentially crap. The special weapon it gets at level 4 will probably be unreal, can't wait to get it. Also, the initial purchase cost was only $32k.

ADFX-01 Morgan Update:
Sortie to Plane ratio: 48:1 :dopey:

Finally got my Morgan and I immediately took it out for a spin. I got some pretty crappy results at first but I soon got the hang of it. I didn't mind the starting 32k to obtain the plane but I wanted a slight advantage. So I used some (a lot) of my research gifts to get it to Lv.2.

I expected it to be reasonably expensive to upgrade. I did not expect Lv.1 - Lv.2 to be over 200k :scared:. That's crazy; I fear aiming for Lv.4.
Nevertheless, I bought it and got me some 2 extra TLS shots to mess around around with. To add to the fun I also bought the TLS special weapon upgrade (Lv.1 to 2) for about 52k. I love using my guns, so I felt at home using an insta-impact laser thing on air targets. Pretty useful when you want to steal that F-22 kill from a rival player.

I am on 10% to get this plane with 4 sorties how many did it take you? Ish
 
Are there two of these in this event?

I got mine on my 2nd sortie after activating the event when it said 6% complete.

Is there another one when you get to 100%?
 
@vasiliflame @Tired Tyres There are two ADFX's in the game right now.

The ADFX-01 Block1 you obtain by completing the challenge where you need to sortie 30 times.

The other one, which is the ADFX-01 Morgan (the one with the red wing), can be obtained randomly after completing any online match. You can get it after your 1st sortie, or in my case, your 48th sortie; it's completely random, but only for this month (or so they say).

Note they both carry the title Morgan, only one carries the title Block1 though.

I think it's at the top of the tree towards the T-50 but I could be wrong.

Finally found it! It's at the bottom of the tree though... right after the Su-24MP.

Now a curiosity question to everyone since its been talked about. Does your player score matter to you?

Personally I'm not so sure, but there is of course a skill range for the appropriate score range and I should be in that necessary "range" to give other players an idea of who I am. But such things always seemed silly to me for whatever reason.
 
Tonight was great flying with @sumbrownkid. We didn't lose one match and we trampled the other team as if we were the German Soccer team! :lol: My favorite thing tonight was at Pipeline, when a submarine emerged and i fired my Tomcat's, or should i say "Bombcat's" 6AAM's manually at it. The thing was history after that, but i still have yet to acheive the Morgan, but I'm 98% complete with research with the Su-35, as i'm in need of a proposed Tomcat replacement! :)👍
 
New plane was just released about 5 minutes ago. Mirage 2000-5 White Tiger and since I am an amazing news reporter its something around 1500 CR to pick up.
Comes with the SFFS bombs stock and gets the always useful SAAM at level 4 and the LASM at level 7.
 
The SFFS is very amusing to use. In the one sortie I did, I finished fairly well against the likes of red winged Morgans and F35Bs. Never really flew the standard Mirage but I see Multiroles a little better now after this flight. As I'm really strictly Air to Air, I might get one.
 
I suck at air to air. I can do it but I prefer a multirole so I can focus on ground attack and break off to do a few F14's in if need be. But this thing... I dunno it maybe the weapon and plane combo but its not my cup of tea its maneuverable but slow and the SFFS I was only able to get to work when I flew real fast past my targets which is not exactly what I want to be doing in a MR. Maybe interesting in a Moby Dick mission though. :lol:
 
@Bobert power : Hey sorry again man, I wish I was able to sortie with you for the glory of Osea (HEIL OSEA), but this summer semester is coming to close so I've been finishing up work that I've had to put off due to other pressing responsibilities. Rest assured I'll be available later today.
 
Okay, I started playing this since May 20th, without using any payments yet and just with stocked fuel and challenges, so far:

Mig-21 -> lvl 5
Mig-29 -> lvl 5
F-14 ZP -> lvl 3
Morgan (block 1) -> lvl 3
Su-35 -> lvl 4

Campaign mission #4 (still to unlock #5, but I want to purchase that unlimited campaign sortie before I do that again).
60 hrs of play, 233 sorties, 3m credits earned, rank Cap #25th, with 94% of sorties in Fighters.


So yeah, I accomplished the goal of getting the Su-35 with the QAAMs before the pvp launches, I hate Attackers and Multirole but I will have to do it at some point, at least I got a set ready for that hectic thing called pvp.





Edit: I'm ranking near 1700 now, I would probably be in the 1900 ish, however when I was getting 1600 and everyone else was on 1400 I found myself getting removed from the rooms quite often.
