Even this one has it I've only noticed it today myself.
The link on the left of the add takes you to the Premium member page, so yes, I think it is meant to be like that. The site has to be paid for some how.

I got it too! I rushed over here and then saw 2 threads like this so I was like I dont think its nessary to upload my image VIA imageshack.
Thanks for moving the ads to the bottom. You should increase the number of advertisements in the GT4 thread and GT4 movie area, to make up for all of the bandwidth being used for the game.
Here is what my Sponsors area look like. I removed them with a little trick. I won't go into detail because Jordan doesn't like it when people remove the ads.
No they aren't annoying. I did it last night because they were breaking the thread and I didn't accidentally want to click on one. I am going to remove it now that the Sponsors are moved to the bottom. At least they don't pop up or talk. I am glad that it is only text so it doesn't load a picture, even though I have cable internet.
Don't know why but I actually like the new ad bar... as for the one at the top it doesn't bother me because half the time nothing shows up because of my popup blocker. :tup:
I am not a premium member and I have never been a premium member. I wish I was one.
I use IE and for some reason the ads at the top of the page never show up for me, and I got rid of the ads by Goooooogle, so they don't display for me. This makes for ad free surfing on this site. I really don't care if there are ads on this site as long as they don't pop-up because I have a fast internet connection. I am going to remove the blocking of the ads by Goooooogle because it doesn't matter to me anymore, as the Sponsors are at the bottom of the page.
