Since I just started playing a week ago, I know the x2010 is considered the best but what about 4 cars after it? The top 5 cars in the game so to speak...

On my list...
1.X2010
2.FGT...
3.GTbyCit Concept (You'll be surprise on how it's handle :D)
4.F2007
5.Honda NSX GT500.

I don't like where this thread is going already...

X2010's are for little bummer boys

Looking for a ban?^

I'd say a list of 4 other cars following the X2010 would be hard to formulate due to the vast amount of great cars in the game.
I personally would not classify the X2010 as the best, although it is clearly superior to others and would be a master piece should it ever be developed for real.

On my top list are the GTbyCIT. and after that, homologation moddels of the Group B rally cars, they are so much fun to drive!

Sounds like somebody didn't earn one...

If you earn it by completing the Vettel challenge legitimately, it is a great trophy to have in your garage. Even if you never drive it again, being able to see it in your list and smile that you earned it the hard way. That you achieved the ultimate challenge in GT5 and did it properly.

If you get one from a duper for free or trade, you will take it straight online, P**s everyone off, get yelled at, get bored, stop playing GT5, nag your mum for $90, buy NFS Hot Pursuit and glance every now and again at the GT5 cover slowly rotting at the bottom of your PS3 game rack.

I got mine legitimately in about an hour. It takes a long time to get used to the rush and eye trickery (especially in SD) and figure out how to keep it on the road. But trust me, the ultimate feeling in GT5 is seeing that an X2010 has been delivered to your delivery truck

O.o And as for the OP's question, if based on track speed..
1. X2010 (all variaties)
2.FGT
3.Ferrari F2007
4.Ferrari F2010
5.Toyota GT One

If based on fun
1. Suzuki Escudo
2. Toyota Supra MK IV (fully modded)
3. Fiat 500
4. PDI Kart
5. Ruf Yellowbird

A fully decked out Yellow Hat GTR is one of my favorite cars in the game!

2: GT40
3: TVR Speed 12
4: Ford XR8
5: Toyota GT1

All cars to have a lot of fun in.

Do you want the top 5 games that will put up the fastest times?
2.FGT
3.f2007
4.f10
5.??????probably one of the group C cars.

Fully tuned Lotus Elan, the amount of fun is insane.

I just won my Red Bull X today...just the generic version...I really don't like it...sure it's fast, but theres no history or fun to it.

I'm gonna get the X2010 from B-specing, I'm almost there.
I want to get one from the SV challenge but feel I'd do myself a favour by practicing first. Them challenges drove me insane after just a few tries because I couldn't keep it on track.

So.... (being unspecific)

2. Any LM group C racer.
3. Any SuperGT car.
4. Any touring car.
5. VW Beetle.

X1 is the bottom of my list and always will be.
Although it is the best car in terms of lap times, it isn't the best car to have fun with in my opinion.
For fun Fiat 500 > X1 :D

I hate the X2010...I think it's a noob-wagon. No fun, so I don't have one! Sorry.

1. Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RM. Maybe it's the setup I run, but this is probably my favourite car to drive in the game overall.
2. Saleen S7. The noise, the speed, the looks.
3. Jaguar XJR-9. I'd rather use this anyday than the X2010.
4. VW Bug '49. Just great fun to power past much more superior machines. Great handling too, remember this was the car that spawned the likes of the Yellow Bird. Wish it had more power upgrades. 89bhp isn't enough even with just 620kg to play with!
5. Ferrari 512BB. It might need a good dose of Ritalin but it looks fantastic.

I don't see the fun in annihilating everything in sight in an overpowered 'car' that looks more like a spaceship. Especially a fictional one with no history or real racing pedigree.

Plus, whenever I go online, the only people there seem to be stupid kids in X2010s.

Newman + vettel is pretty solid pedigree if you ask me. They are 2010 F1 champions so yeah <.<

I dont like it either but your argument just dont make sens.
As for myself my 5 favorite cars are :

NSX Type-R 02'
Cusco Subaru 08
Subaru Impreza Super Touring Car
NSX Proto LM road car
Amemiya Aspardrink Rx7 (new one)

And how do you know that they're kids or stupid for that matter?

If you want to go by amount of fun:D
1. Peugeot 908
2. Acura NSX RM
3. TVR Tuscan RM
4. Honda NSX-R
5. Lotus Elise RM

I earned my Carbon X2010 the hard way, but it's still really far down on my "fun" list.

I've also noticed that the Carbon and Standard X2010s are somewhat quicker than the Vettel version.

And how do you know that they're kids or stupid for that matter?

The high-pitched voices on headsets gleefully screaming "get him" because they got overtaken by a 300C gave it away.

I'm also well aware of them being one of the better F1 teams. I haven't followed F1 for years because I find the racing boring and wayy too commercial. Call me old-fashioned? Perhaps.

Ouch.
I'm 15 but I drive cleanly respecting the speed of the car :)

The FIA are changing the rules way too much, and there adding on too many new tracks, Korea for example is rubbish but if Korea pays they stay.

I like the Korea track, but Abu Dhabi/New Hockenheim sucks, really:yuck:

I recently entered an X2010 room with some of my friends. You can expect a few prepubescents to be in there, but it was fun overall.

Basically, never enter a room with unlimited regulations:irked:

Korea was only good because of the track condition.
It was a good race, but I hate the track.
Abu Dhabi sucks massively, new Hockenheim is awesome :D
I liked the new Barhain layout in 2010, but hate the new Silverstone, that new arena section just doesn't flow well.
And then there's the Indian GP, now offense but I hope it doesn't get past FIA inspection, there's just too many new tracks being added. And then there's the Russian GP *sigh*
Spa even became endangered of being removed!
Bahrain being cancelled it good, I like the track, but watching a race there is boring. The start to a new Season should always be Australia, and the ending should always be Brazil.
But instead the UAE have paid and they're first and last 👎

Spa was nearly canceled a lot of times those past 10 years. It's not because of the new tracks like bahrein etc. but rather where it is and what's around it. Also it was quite "dangerous" for a F1 track".

Oh and btw Elstro I dont care if you think F1 is boring or not that wasnt my point at all nor if you knew that they were a F1 team. You sayed that the X2010 didnt had any pedigree, I'm just saying that the best F1 driver (with no abs or tcs this year) and the best F1 designer is actually a good pedigree. That's all I'm saying. Liking F1 or not is something else.

Racing pedigree means about as much as mud in your face. I know I'm in the minority, but pedigree doesn't factor into engineering, and if someone tries to use pedigree as their selling point, I can only think low of them.

In response to the first part of your post, I don't see the fun in being overpowered either, but the X1 is no worse at being overpowered than any other car so it's a moot point. I use my X1 in one of two ways

1. Non traditional online races (let a Minolta get a 2 lap lead in a 4 lap race and try to catch up)

2. X1 race

The latter is just as difficult and exciting as any other race you can think of.

On topic

1. X1
2. F10/F2007
3. FGT
4. Sauber C9 (?)
5. Peugeot 908 with Turbo (?)
