Unfortunately, a lot of "best car" lists are really up to the individual user. If you're going in terms of just laptimes, then yeah.. the FGT and F1 cars will top the list behind the X1. But there are plenty of cars that I just like to drive, and they're usually fast enough to win most races.

Truth to this in some way, but I think we're all basing this purely on fact.


Fact: Red Bull X2010, Formula Gran Turismo, Ferrari F2007, and Ferrari F10 are the four fastest track-lapping machines in the game. For just pure race-pace, nothing beats these cars.

Questionable: What the fifth fastest car in comparison to everything else is up for speculation, but I understand fully (as I own several of them in-game), any of the Group C Le Mans race cars could fit very well into this spot. I'd say the Minolta Toyota 88C-V, Nissan R92CP, or Sauber Mercedes C9 fit the bill pretty well.

Agreed, the Toyota GT-One could also be 5th fastest.

GT40 is actually worse than the XJ-13 for being a car from the 60's.
But if you on the other hand mean the Ford GT LM that's a COMPLETELY different name and car.

1. X2010. It just obliterates anything else in the game. To say it isn't "the best" is just ludicrous. It's not the FUNNEST car in the game, by any means, at least in my experience, but it is the best, if best = fastest lap times, bar none.

2. Formula GT.

3. F2007.

4. F10

5. Tie - all the LeMans cars (actual LeMans cars, not "concept" GT LM cars) and all of the Group C cars. I personally like the R92CP best, but that's just me...


Of the top 5, I only really get any enjoyment out of the LeMans cars (905, R8, R10, etc.) and the Group C cars. The others are faster, but are just too much of a handful for me to enjoy driving them in events. The Ferrari one-make bonus races and the FGT championship just feel like chores to me, not fun.

What's with all this hating on the X2010? To be honest, I think people hate the idiots who go around using it online, but don't hate the car itself. The X2010 is fun to use, it is difficult to drive at consistently high speeds and is overall very interesting. I think there should be an option online to allow ONLY X2010's into a race (like with the Kart and F1 cars) because I actually find it fun racing around the Nurburgring with a group of guys in X2010's

Spa was nearly canceled a lot of times those past 10 years. It's not because of the new tracks like bahrein etc. but rather where it is and what's around it. Also it was quite "dangerous" for a F1 track".

And they allowed Korea to host a race in the condition they were in...

the X1 is fun for me. yes i said it. and the reason i find it fun is just because of how unbelievable fast it is. i dont use it too often as i want to have close races but i like it nontheless. my opinion.
