The 6-cylinder TVRs sound good with the exhaust uncorked.

I love the sound my Viper SR10 makes when it comes out of a pitstop, sounds like a mighty beast roaring for vengeance :D

The '05 Mustang and FPV GT are nice, also. I dunno about "aggressive" but the FPV has a very unique sounding exhaust.

I kinda dig the Shelby Cobra and the Stingray race car with no exhaust mods done. They cam fuggin hard.

Spoon Civic goin through the tunnel on Cote A'zur. Not mean, just amazing.

I remember really liking the sound of the GT40 when I first drove it. That was a while ago, so it might not be as good as I remember.

Hey Loserer, is that a Rotary engine on your Avatar?

It sure is - a bit different to the ol' piston power eh. :)

As for aggressive sound - the R32 GTR's sound mean. Fully modded you get the roar of the engine, the howl of the wastegate, and the whine from that racing gearbox. It just sounds like it's got a ton of grunt, and it uses it... :)

Yeah, the SRT-10 fully modded sounds absolutely amazing during a pitstop. It crackles, burps, grunts, pops, and generally sounds like an 8.3 liter 1000hp engine should. Definitely the meanest sounding car I've heard in the game yet, it surprised me when I first heard it during a pitstop because it sounds so much better than any other car in the game :D

NSX Type-R concept with stock exhaust

Viper SRT-10 with semi-racing exhaust. Listen to it idle. It's perhaps the most realistic sound GT4 can produce.

Otherwise, Corvette Z06 with semi-racing exhaust.

Hey, after watching some Rally races and a Touring Car Championship on Speed last night/this afternoon the engine sounds in GT4 are alot more accurate than I'd like to think lol. Those cars really DO sound like irate weed-eaters on acid. :D

They got most of the 4 cylinder sounds pretty accurate.

I can add another one to the non wimpy sounding group Cs. the XJR-9 has a nice sound. Definately sounds like a huge V12. Just a shame the XJR9 is the bottom of the heap for group Cs.

An uncorked DC5 Teg or EP civic pretty much sound just like PD Cunninghams touring car.

The DC2 uncorked sounds like a typical B-series with an open exhaust.

They didn't get the SR20 even close. The silvias still sound nothing like they do in real life.

The EVOs sound pretty close. They did get the touch of making the turbo cars quieter than NA cars which is true to life.

The RS200 is still probably the best sounding car in the game. It just SCREAMS

V16 BRM used in their early 50's F1 cars:

I like that sound its not bad.

The one i like its the 2000 EVO RS. when its fully modifed. and also the car its in a licean you have to do its a Nissan 240 sx its a white one it had the best sound stock too.

and spoon civic its like a jet.

The Ford GT sounds like a vaccuum cleaner with a washer stuck in the tube.
As for aggressive I havent found any car that I would call the aggressive soundding in GT4 yet, although the aussie V8s sound sweet as if you drive them under 3000rpm

Grand Prix
Aggressive sound eh? Well, the TVR Griffith sounds awesome with any exhaust modification.

In fact, it sounds a lot like the V16 BRM used in their early 50's F1 cars:

👍

The TVR V8S sounds meaty as well. So does the RUF BTR.

sounds good. Im gonna buy TVR and tune it.

I agree

I think a lot of the muscle cars (like the Challenger, Cougar, etc) sound real neat at idle. GT4 captured the "cam lope" pretty good I think. Otherwise, I think they didn't get a lot of the American V8 sounds very realistic. I like the Buick Grand National's exhaust, stock (stock exhaust, but modded engine). It's real deep but SMOOTH. Unfortunately, if you do anything to the exhaust, it starts to sound worse (unlike real life).

Is there a difference in the sounds between any of the exhaust mods, i know the sound changes between stock and modded but what about sorts and racing for example.

Most aggressive sounds for me are the V12 DB9, the straight 6 TVR Tuscan and the V8 in the GT40.
