Pretty sure the image cropping is part of the "demo" aspect. I did some experiments of combining different models in the prompt (Mostly with the Porsche Boxster) and I think the results are actually pretty great:

These are quite good, and I appreciate the kind of narrative backup for these. I would really love to see what a "what if" where Mercedes Benz had entered a V12 powered C216 into 2007-era ACO/FIA GT1 class at LeMans, and in parallel that the GT1 cars in that category were still required to have full homologation. So a Mercedes Benz CL GT1 V12 Road Car, with sidepipes obviously - in Silver.
ORR, hot off the success of the Lancer Evolution in WRC, Mitsubishi threw their hat in the ring with a full on crazy '99 Spec GT1 3000GT/GTO. Pure silhouette body (Like the 911 GT1 or CLK GTR) over a bespoke mid engine prototype chassis. But again, the road car homologated variant of that.

It definitely has that futuristic cyberpunk look, even a little bit of a Vision GT look to it. I imagine that bubble cockpit would only seat the driver, right in the middle of it.
The new Dall-E 3 update has improved some of the car generation ability. The AI now follows directions better when blending together different styles of cars. This experiment specifically led to the below creation, a Challenger-based Jeep convertible in stock, Hellcat, Rubicon, and custom lowrider configurations.
