Sick gun MachOne! Mines a really, really beginners' best friend electric Crosman Pulse M70 *clear* The thing is a pain to be against though, it has a 250 round "clip" and it's full auto. And it was only $25 at Kmart! :) I used to have a Crosman shotgun too, that broke. I parents won't buy stuff for me online even if I get the money, so my choices are extremely limited. Anyway, nice gun!

Hey i have the same gun :D:D wicked execpt i paid $40 for it at canadian tire :P

That's probably the same price in USD, it's a sweet little gun.

But it broke AGAIN. :(

I might just give up on airsoft...no one plays around here anymore and I'd get destroyed at a match.

Edit: Amen to kylehnat

samj i just use mine to shoot the squirells out of the tree in my backyard or the racoons GRRRRRR i hate those things squirells have a nest in my tree and my dad got mad so he took me to canadian tire and told me to pick one and i grabbed the fully auto is so fun

I used to play quite seriously. My gear's all back at home, and some of it's trashed, but I had an upgraded, OP-oriented (~350FPS) Classic Army M15A4. Cost about $500 totally set up.

I'd like to get back into the game sometime, but a new gun is in order, the M15 was dropped several stories and I don't like it enough to fix it. The thing was simply too big, never again will I lug around a full-length, full-metal, M16. I'll probably get some kind of SMG or light, non AR-type, carbine.

I suggest a Tokyo Marui MP5. Best gun you can get on the market hands down. They'll cost you a few pretty pennies, but they rock hard. I've had the privilege to use a couple in organized Airsoft events and, I must say, they are nice.

Tokyo Marui M4A1 ($205.00 USD) Medium Weight, High Stopping Power

Tokyo Marui MP5K A4 ($150.00 USD) Very Light and Compact, Lacking Stopping Power Of Other AEGs.

Tokyo Marui MP5K A4 PDW Edition ($175.00 USD) Light, Slightly More Stopping Power Than Standard

List Of Tokyo Marui MP5's and some others.

I might consider getting one myself. $200 for a Tokyo Marui gun is unbelievably cheap.

How much fun is Airsoft compared to paintball? Can you tell easily when you get hit?

No, you really can't. Airsoft pwns. Good guns = much funs.
👍

While I love real guns, I agree with you. You can't shoot your buddies with real guns....... most of your buddies with real guns.

I've never played with paintballs, but I prefer airsofts. Airsoft guns are realistic, which I appreciate, because I'm a nerd. It also hurts less. With cheaper airsofts, you can lightly feel it, when you are shot. Does not hurt at all.

I'm just thinking that in paintball, it's obvious if you get hit - there's a big paint splatter after all. In airsoft it's BBs that bounce off of you, so I wasn't sure if it was easily felt or not if you're out there wearing a few layers.

The "real gun" aspect appeals to me too, just because they're so damn accurately produced and realistic. And then you can go out have skirmishes with them.

From what I understand, it's not the paint that tells you that you've been shot. It... hurt... like... HELL!

Yes, it does...

I got my XM8 yesterday :D, some parts feel like a metal gun, even though it's ABS plastic.

Just because I'm not rich and can't shell out money for a TM, CA or any other gun over $100, doesn't mean I can't be excited for getting a gun which will creme my cousin in an airsoft skirmish.

From,
Chris.

Rich? You can easily grab a full-auto electric rifle for $35-$40. You can even get a Tokyo Marui for $125 or so if you look in the right places.

And good luck creaming anyone in a battle with a spring rifle. Especially an XM8.

How many times do I have to tell ya'll, I'm up against a guy with a crappy spring pistol that shoots 150 FPS, and I have a full auto gun already, and I didn't have $40 -$50 to spend, i have enough to buy the spring XM8, that's what I wanted. Ok?

From,
Chris.

I spent $50 with shipping, and I don't want a stinkin' M4!

From,
Chris.

Yes, I would. But I don't use the scope. I have my opinion, and you have yours.

Anyone know about the super 9?

From,
Chris.

if you ever win a large amount of money...make sure you're restrained lol *went broke to get a G36 and get it sorted to the same as the Alien Vs Predator version*

Anywho, if you can get a UHC Super 9, I'd recommend it, my friend uses one and it's an awesome piece of kit, solid and feels good when you clack the bolt and chamber a round. But I've seen a few cheap versions that practically fall apart after a week or two.

Airsoft is fun and really popular here in Hong Kong. Here's my little collection...

TM=Tokyo Marui

TM Glock G18C, KWC Desert Eagle, KSC M11-A1, TM FN P-90TR (Suppresed), TM H&K MP5KA4, TM Sig P226, TM H&K PSG-1...

Now take one with a sign that says "chaser_fan @ GTPlanet.net"

The nice little "Airsoft" emblem in the bottom left corner is a bit suspicious. Explain it, plez.

Anyone know where to get a decent electric or gas P90? Like the one in "chaser_fan's guns"?

EDIT: Anyone else notice that none of the tips are orange? They just have an orange rectangle over them...

What's the problem? The 'Airsoft' text and boxes that I added are just cos I'm paranoid about a few HK Special Branch guys waking me up at 4 in the morning with 'real' MP5s pointed at my head.

Just added a chrome TM Hardkick DEagle (GBB) to the collection. There's nothing that puts a smile on your face like this bad boy. It's weight and kick are great and the price is reasonable. It's also accurate from quite a long range. Here's a pic... (minus orange boxes)

Once again, no orange tip...illegal much? Or is it a real firearm?

Or is it Google?

Where's the picture with the GTP sign?

You require proof? You don't have to believe me if you choose not to, but I can assure you that in the three years that I've been a member of GTP I've never supplied any misinformation. I don't see what's difficult to believe about owning these anyway. It's not like they're expensive or difficult to get hold of.

EDIT: Having said that, the P90 and the Sig P226 are my friends.

Btw, is that a Marui M4 RIS in your profile picture? How is it? It's dead nice. I've had my eye on one for a while.

What the heck is wrong with some of you guys? Airsoft guns aren't exactly liquid gold. Heck, if you can afford a PS2, you can get an original Marui here in Asia, no problem.

Hell, if you can afford a PS3, you can buy a couple... ...us Philippine guys are much poorer than yon Hong Kong members, but I know of quite a number of guys with five or six guns.

And Hong Kong is the capital of cheap shopping. They cost even less there. (you lucky bastards)
