So the thing has already jammed on me and I can't seem to get it working again. Can anyone tell me how to take it apart?

I believe the cleaning rod doubles up as a unjamming rod (turn it around), if you have one.

This post might help, it starts out the same as my M14 (Pull down on the trigger guard), but obviously it could get complicated being an EBR and all:

I had a KART EBR and I remember that once I took the trigger guard out it came apart. It just pulls out but mine was a tight fit. I'll see if I can find the old picture I used when I sold the parts on Ebay.

Ok, here it is. Maybe it will help.

The trap door is a press fit under the pistol grip. You will need to pry it out to get to the screw underneath.

This video on putting a KART EBR body on a Tokyo Marui helped me when I took mine apart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btjYILMLWPY

What kind of BB's are you using in it? I know the common saying is no .12g BB's since they're awful overall, but I've even seen .24g BB's with huge seams, dents and malformed shapes from what you might've thought would be a good quality brand.

I have .20g BBs. The cleaning rod is part of the problem. The stupid rubber thing is now also stuck inside the gun. This is why I want to take the gun apart so I can get the barrel off.

I bought one of these recently:

It's a Taiwanese WE full metal 1911 propane gas gun with blow back. Fires 6mm BB's, supposedly as I haven't bought the gas yet. :p The reviews of this gun are very good so that's why I bought it, that and I got it 30% off. :D

I do have to say anyone who needs a good BB pistol should definitely pick one of these up. Plus with it being a 1:1 scale and weighing the almost same as the real deal it feels good in your hands and has the balanced weight of the real thing. And having field stripped a real 1911 I was pleasantly surprised that this airsoft replica actually field strips just like the real one. The father-in-law has an original government issue 1911 manufactured in 1913 that we go to the range and fire it often. I gotta say I'm pleased at least with the fit and finish so far.

Anyone else have one of these?

I also need to pick up another good BB pistol for the wife that isn't a 1911 so I'm up for suggestions. Just has to be full metal and something very sturdy.
